Very old facility. Needs redo. Pool not open because of COVID. Bathtub was old and chipped. Textured wall board around tub is impossible to clean. We had no maid service at all. We had to get our own clean towels from the laundry. Ice machine was awfully far from our room.

It's a quirky old oil town. The oil levels are declining, and the new industrial base for the place is incarcerating people. No lie. It's cultured, pretty, and a little bit goofy. Don't miss it.

Coalinga smells like a cow pasture. It's only attraction besides Harris Ranch is it's proximity to Avenal State Prison. The town is geared for taking advantage of the prison visiting clientele and truckers.

Coalinga is a small town, off the main travel route, but the townspeople were friendly and helpful when we suffered a flat tire en route to our hotel. Our stay was very brief, but it seemed easy to find our way around the town.
Hotel is off the main road so it's quieter, but within easy walking distance of restaurants, downtown and it has an Ace Hardware on the next block over, there are plenty of amenities nearby. I had a single bed room that was clean and had a large closet, the manager was a cool dude that put me on the second floor which is a little quieter then the ground level rooms and has less foot traffic.
The man at the front desk waited for me and my child to show an hour after closing and showed us the direction of the room and even advised me on how to get a discount for next time. I was super appreciative of his hospitality because I was not having the best day before we arrived. I will be staying again when we head to Coalinga.
Everything was great!, it was very clean, I myself worked for service master clean & i didn't see no sign of dust. I'd recommend to anyone who is traveling through coalinga ❤ the beds were very comfortable except the light in the hallway wasn't working, but everything else was great! I'll be back for sure.
The hotel is right off of I5 and is a convenient stopover during a road trip. Staff were very nice. Room and all facilities were clean. We had a lot of room including a small sofa and table. Refrigerator was larger than average, and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was ample.
We have stayed at this hotel several times and it’s great every time. It’s spotless and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good and staff are always so kind and accommodating. It’s an excellent location too.
Super friendly staff. Rustic and old fashioned furnishings. Felt like a 1956 motel on rt 66 but had a comfy bed, working fridge, microwave and flat svcreen TV. Good shower.
One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in on my RT drive from CA to AZ. It was new. Great breakfast. A full bar. Great staff. Pet friendly. Worth the drive off 5. Quiet.
There are several restaurants and gas stations around, what makes the life easier for a road trip traveler. The staff is super friendly and has a good price.
