It was very clean and appreciate that it is pet friendly. Interior seemed newly remodeled from previous hotel Oxen Yoke. Staff at desk at Eastern Slope was courteous and check in was quick.

Stayed here in mid April and it was great. Not the newest or fanciest, but it still has everything you need like a microwave & refrigerator. And overall it is clean. Parking is also free and directly outside your room for maximum convenience.

It's a pleasant small town with good casual restaurants [ Mexican, tavern, fish, breakfast, but nothing fancy, expensive & gourmet] convenient to hiking but not crowded with shoppers. I recommend you find a place to stay, because the area offers plenty of activities and locations that will impress any traveler in you party.

The house looks small from outside, but spacious for our party of 4 inside and lovely inside!!! love the whole set up, especially the fireplace. The owner was very responsive to us and kind and we were supplied with full kitchen and anything we needed to prepare our meals. Linens and towels also provided. Everything was working properly. It's a nice, well maintained, and organized house. It was close to Saco River. We highly recommend this place and I think we'll be back here again in the future.
