My name is Wen. On March 30st, I forgot retrieve my ID at this hotel when l checked out .Thanks to them for faxed a copy of my ID to the next hotel where I checked in the next day, and promising to send my ID card to my home address. The Postage is paid for by me. But 10 days have passed and I haven't received it. If they are too busy to send my ID back, I hope they will send me a photo of the sealed ID in the mail to make a sure that I don't have to worry about the security of my identity in the future. I hope I can get their response, it's my fault for forgetting the ID. I had to apply for a new ID.

Beautiful area, with a lot to explore.
Beautiful area, with a lot to explore. My schedule only allowed 1/2 day. I would recommend visiting mid-week, NOT during Spring break. I rented a kayak for 3 hours from Hunter Springs Kayaks (highly recommend them!), with the intention of swimming with manatees. I only saw 1 manatee while swimming, plus a couple more from the kayak, since it was late in the season for seeing manatees. Next time I'll plan on visiting earlier in the season, midweek

Crystal River is an adorable little beach town full of nature loving people, artists, veterans, and retirees. We had a wonderful time there snorkeling with manatees, boating, kayaking, and exploring Heritage Village. Highly recommended for a long weekend trip.

Three sisters spring was very nice saw a lot of manatees and the trails were nice. Parking was limited. Kayak rental was pricey and not worth it. We did see manatees but the bay was crowded the water murky until you got near the springs. Would not recommend kayaking in the bay and channels. There are much better places to kayak . If you love seafood eat at the Crab Plant. Casual dining with great food and a big variety of fresh caught seafood.

Crystal River is the most beautiful little town we have ever visited. Everything is manatee-themed, even down to some of the streetlights! There are lots of things to do, especially if you love nature and wildlife. Scalloping, hiking, swimming with manatees, and kayaking just to name a few. There are also lots of great dining options available, especially the seafood! It is a cultural hotspot as well, with lots of murals, galleries, museums, and historical sites to see. We will definitely be back and hope to stay longer next time.

The best birthday vacation.
The best birthday vacation. Main goal was to snorkel with manatees. Was able to pack a lot of activities into each day since towns are so close together. The best place for outdoor activities and water activities. Lots of history. Many parks and trails for walking. hiking, or biking. The locals are so nice and engaging. They make you feel welcome, and the few times I drove anywhere I did not encounter impatient or rude drivers. They just move around you and ignore the pokey tourist. Such a nice place to visit and they make you feel safe there. And lots of fresh seafood!
check in went smoothly, very friendly desk person. the room is very basic, but everything was there including a microwave and fridge..it is a very basic hotel but was clean for a quickie overnight trip where we just needed a place to crash for the night..the shower pressure was good..the sink did not drain very well and might be something someone might want to look into..but the fridge was very cold and it was just perfect for a cheap quick night in the middle of a very rural area that does not have a lot of fancy places to stay
I usually only pick hotels that have excellent reviews. This one had a few negative reviews, hence I debated quite a bit and booked it only due to the lack of other better options. I have to say it is a great place and I would go back. The property is very big and right on the water. Nice spacious room. Pool with bar open till late. Restaurant on site open for dinner and lunch. Nice staff. Tours and rentals on property. We stayed only one night, but it deserves a longer stay. So much to do in the area and at the hotel itself.
This was such a great find. My husband and I planned a last minute getaway to Crystal River for scalloping. We found this spot and booked a room. From the time we arrived to our last day the owner and his business partner, Tina were extremely gracious and accommodating. Clean, charming atmosphere and comfy room and bed with private bath. This place was a senior living facility that they are converting into a hotel inn and they are doing a great job. I’m recommending this place to everyone! Great price too!!
Exceptionally well planned accommodation with tremendous facilities as described. Well sited with many Crystal River facilities just around 10 minutes away e.g. manatees, boat trips, traditional breakfast diner, Publiks (for stocking up). The weather wasn't ideal, so we found the games room ideal (useful ping pong kit) and the Roku TV meant that apps could be easily accessed. Parking in the drive also very helpful. While we were a small group there would certainly be room for many more..a real bargain.
I've been travelling the States for a few weeks now and this is only the second place that has had the hot water hot enough for how I like my showers. I loved that I finally got a steamy shower!
The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, which made falling asleep no problem.
The staff helped me by finding more businesses when I had trouble finding a taxi that was available for a morning pick up. Their help meant I was able to get to my early morning tour. I definitely would recommend this hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel previously. It was a perfect location for what we were there for...swimming with the Manatees!
Most of the staff are really lovely. Emma on the front desk is exceptional. We had a problem with our room, Emma sorted everything out for us and moved us without any issue! She was really professional and so friendly, it makes such a difference to your stay!
Considering I booked this place last minute after an awful experience at the Plantation Hotel, this hotel was such a breath of fresh air - clean, felt new, friendly service, still central to everything needed.... ah. Would highly recommend this place if going to crystal river for manatee excursions
We were visiting Crystal River for Manatee swim as part of a longer stay in Florida.
Nice change of pace from Orlando.
Room was great, well equipped, owners excellent hospitality. Wish we’d had a bit more time to spend there.
This was our 3rd stay at The Port Hotel and Marina. The location is everything here. We could sit on our patio and watch the manatees all day in Kings Bay. The views of the Bay here are the best I've ever seen. Love it!!!
Beautiful clean facility, comfortable room & bed. Great morning breakfast service. Food was excellent and staff was great. Hotel was conveniently located near relatives we were visiting. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff. Clean, quiet, and comfortable room. Plenty of parking. Close to several excellent restaurants. We stop at this motel every time we are in the Crystal River area. Thats about three time a year.
