I had lived in the Dayton area for decades! I had never been to visit the Presidential Hanger at the Air Force Museum, and finally took the time to visit! I was not disappointed! I highly recommend the Museum. There are so many historical sites around the Dayton area, it would keep someone busy for weeks!

We were visiting my Mother at the Hospital prior to her moving to a Hospice facility. This trip was not for pleasure. Previous visits to the USAF museum have been very enjoyable. There was a lot of road construction especially south of I-70. Some crazy drivers but overall able to get around pretty well. Mostly eating at fast food places just off the interstate. We always try to travel through Dayton during non rush hour times.

If you're in Dayton for more than a day and you have at least 3 hours to spend, definitely go to the National Air Force Museum! Unbelievable collection of flying machines from every era and interactive rides and displays for kids. Also, the Carillon Park with the Wright Brothers bicycle shop is very interesting and fun.

The area around our BnB was beautiful. It was very lively with plenty to do! Great restaurants like Blind Bob's. Just make sure you pay attention to the lanes, they could be confusing! Visit the National Air Force Museum!

They put a $150.00 security deposit on my credit card on...
They put a $150.00 security deposit on my credit card on June 4th and I looked at my bank credit card statement today (June 8th) 4 business days later and no credit. They told me what I would check in it would be credited the next day. When I called them today they said my bank was hanging onto the credit. Not true. I called my bank immediately after talking to Comfort Inn at Dayton,Oh. My Bank told me that that is not true. So I put a fraudulent charge claim in so I wouldn’t have to pay that $150. I was on the phone over an hour with comfort inn with really no resolution. They told me it would take 10 to 14 business days to get my $150 back. They were being dishonest and fraudulent. If you wanna lose $150 or have to try to monitor your credit card then stay there. Otherwise I would find any other place to stay.
The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities one could ask for. The bed was cozy, and the room had a lovely view. The free internet access was a godsend for staying connected with family and work during my trip, and it was surprisingly fast and reliable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The hotel's breakfast spread was diverse and satisfying. It was a great way to start my day, and I appreciated not having to worry about finding a place to eat in the morning.
We were delighted to receive an upgraded room because I misunderstood the type of room I had reserved for our 3 night stay. Kids loved the winter experience of an indoor outdoor swimming pool. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent and complimentary. Very clean. All employées were friendly and efficient.management was circulation in the breakfast room and at diiner time.
Front desk manager Robb orchestrated the room upgrade with me before I even suggested it.
Very happy to make this my favorite hotel!
That as an amazing find! It's actually more a B&B then a hotel, very small, quaint old property. The reception area however is VERY dangerous: it's half reception/half wine bar... you'll walk away with a bottle of lovely French White wine to wash down the dust of the road. Rooms are spacious and it feels like you have a mini-apartment for your self.
PLUS: they reserved our parking spot with a little name tag, I can't remember when a hotel last did that for me. Very cool.
Location - shopping and restaurants in very close proximity. We were able to work in our room and in the lobby area once we checked out and had to wait until it was time to go to the airport. Helpful and friendly staff. Delilah, there during the day 4/8, was very nice and helpful in having lunch available for the guests while waiting to see the solar eclipse. This was very thoughtful for hotel managment to approve/provide - an unexpected pleasant suprise.
We typically stay at 2 - 4 star hotels. Though we don't have negative thoughts about Days Inn we weren't expecting a lot. What a surprise! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable. No hiccups with room keys, entry, parking, etc. The breakfast selection was adequate, and all items tasted good. It was a wonderful stay!
Staff was friendly and respectful. The room was clean, but small. The special happy hour between 5:30p-7pm was a nice touch and included 3 courtesy-alcoholic beverages per guest (which you'll need to keep your mind off the noise & calamity surrounding your hotel room) A light meal comparable to a snack/dinner selection was also available during happy hour which I thought was neat too.
The staff was very nice and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel is very close to the highway, but there is no highway noise. The water pressure in the shower was very good. I used a blacklight to check cleanliness and to check for bedbugs. The room was very clean. the bathroom was pretty clean. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel charge me the room and booking .com charge it to me another time so i have to pay trwice the amont nobody answer the phone at the hotel and boooking.com those not repond to my questionning!!!!!!
Everthing was almost perfect. the staff incredible. except for the bathtub the cleanness was perfect. the breakfast was a bit cold but we were late it was almost close
We loved our spacious room, the kitchenette was supplied with more than most hotels including dish soap we used to wash bottles with! The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy. The welcome snacks were a hit with my kids and the free waters all day were a nice bonus with kids. The breakfast was great and had so many choices!
The Hotel personnel was excellent, the hotel was cleans. There was a nice bar and restaurant with a view . The only problem we had, was trying to get bath/ face fresh towels to Accommodate two guests, The rooms was only equipped to serve one guest.
I would definitely stay there again when in Dayton.
Stayed here much time and it continues to be my favorite hotel in Dayton! Safe, Clean, Free WiFi, Movie Channels, Perfect location, just across the street from Restaurants & shopping, superb service from staff, and great rates! If you are going to Dayton, STAY HERE!
Didn’t like anything. Hotel was just bought by new company and was filthy and lack of signage and was in great disrepair. The girl working counter was so apologetic. It was only her 3rd day at working there. Her manager was no help at all.
The location of the hotel is all by itself making it safer. You head off into Dayton and it can be a little sketchy nearby so that's nice. But it looks like more buildings may be moving in. It is right next to WPAFB so that's cool.
Front desk staff was very accommodating and responsive - excellent customer service skills! The elevated sink is an excellent improvement over other hotel bathrooms!
