Dunedin is a nice, quiet, little town to relax in. Easy, walkable town with plenty of restaurants, bars and microbreweries to visit. Nice Park at the water's edge but not really a beach town. Close to Clearwater Beach by car. Pinella trail runs right thru town for easy biking riding or a run.

I would not recommend Dunedin as a vacation destination.
I would not recommend Dunedin as a vacation destination. Downtown area is very congested and many homeless sprawled out in the street even blocking crossing areas. Local law enforcement does nothing about it. Much better upscale choices on the West coast such as Naples to stay in.

This is one of the best little towns of Florida.
This is one of the best little towns of Florida.
There is plenty to do and if you are in search of good beer there are seven breweries (and counting) in walking distance.
Beaches, baseball, and more.

Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island are the main natural attractions. Access to Caladesi is by ferryboat from Honeymoon Island, you can walk it from Clearwater but it's almost four miles. Downtown Dunedin is a charmer! No national chains, lots of unique shops and restaurants. More parking is available off the main streets. We dined at Clear Sky Draught House, liked it so much we went back the next night! Eclectic menu and great happy hour specials. Get there early or be prepared to wait, the locals really love this place.

The first time I visited Dunedin I fell in love with the town. My son and his wife live in Clearwater and would love to live in Dunedin, but housing is expensive (everywhere not just there)
The whole town is walkable and everything is quaint and friendly. A place just to relax and remove yourself from the hectic-ness of life.
Dunedin makes you feel good.

Down town is a very walkable area with lots of local shops, restaurants and bars. No chain stores here, just great local flair. Has the “old Florida “ feel. Accessible by car and boat. Plenty to do nearby via short drive or ferry trip. Some of the nicest beaches in the state are just across the bay.
Don’t miss Crown and Bull or Bon Appetite restaurants.
This is an old house whose interior has has been redesigned and re-engineered with great care and taste, using top notch materials and decorated beautifully. The premises were immaculate and it was furnished with very tasteful furniture. The amenities for clients and the material used for coffee and snacks was also of a very high quality. The common area was very appealing and warm and the pool was in excellent shape. Too bad we did not meet the owner (s). It is definitely a place we will be happy to stay in if we return to Dunedin.
Very clean, full of theme-based details and funny signs (all of them with a special guest-related story - don't be the reason for the next one 😀). Perfect location to explore the city (and microbreweries) with only a short walk. Rock is an awesome host with great hospitality - requirement: you're not the guest category "annoying". 😉
Best regards from the 4 "damn" germans! We had a great time and would definitely come back again when visiting Dunedin.
This is a very smart and exceptionally clean property. It is very apparent that a lot of thought has been put in to creating this unique bed and breakfast. It’s in a great location for visiting the many breweries and restaurants of downtown Dunedin. We would happily stay there again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you to everyone at Beyond The Wall.
This is a very old style property that has been updated. The price for the night was very reasonable. The TV was decent and there was a small fridge. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It had a clean pool to swim in and the location was good, right on a main road. The person in charge had good suggestions for areas we planned to visit.
The hotel was very nice and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast, we were able to make our own waffles. They had oatmeal, eggs, sausages, fountain drinks, cereal. It was your basic continental breakfast, the area was very clean. I like that they had a pool and it was heated.
Very nice hotel in a lovely area good friendly staff and lovely room, when you go out of your room on to the balcony there is a very nice view of a lake.the hotel is in a great spot in Dunedin with nice restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel
The day time Valet person, who worked on Wed and Thursday was very positive and helpful with our bikes and luggage.
Our checkin was very positive and he was very informative on what was going on in the hotel for Cinco De Mayo.
The house was emaculate! The bedrooms were very nice and the living room was so spacious. The location was convenient to great local restaurants and unique shops. If I come back to Dunedin I will book this place again.
Great location, small and friendly hotel. Within walking distance of the main town, with a fantastic roof top bar ideal for an evening drink, with great views of the water. Room were clean and comfortable.
The hotel was next to the marina, which had great sunsets. The rooms were large with a kitchen sink , a microwave and a coffee machine. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good breakfast .
Great location. Well-equipped, including filtered water, champagne, chocolates! Nice outside areas to visit with others yet remain socially distanced. Very clean!
