Nothing. It was disgusting, dirty, smelled of cigarettes and pot. Staff very rude and even locked themselves out of their own office. Refused to provide a non smoking room for same price of smoking even though it was the same price on line- booking.com and their website as well. No breakfast provided at all. An empty waffle iron on the counter, nothing else. Absolutely horrible.
Elkin was a quiet, relaxing town. Though we came because of proximity to Stone Mountain State Park, we also discovered the town is developing a top-flight greenway trail. Nice restaurants and interesting shops. Most of all, friendly people, eager to talk about their nice town and help visitors.
Nothing to like, was stuck 4 hours in traffic, messaged this place, 8 hours prior to trying to check in, of the traffic delays, and still no response from them. Pin code didn't work, and after 15 hours of driving, we were stranded with all hotels around booked. I called multiple times while not being able to get in. It's now the next day, and still no response, yet they still took another $300 deposit for a room we couldn't even use, plus the $200. Worst traveling experience I have ever had.
Very,Very quite sleeping was nice upstairs.
Room was very clean it also smelled of disinfectant which helped ease our fear with Co-vid.
We still had wipes, sprays ourselves for Tv control, phones, tables etc... But, the room was a nice surprise.
Oh, yes it is close to a Hospital so knowing a ER is near with asthma, and other health issues was nice to know,
just saying
We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Always exceptional service and super clean, The hotel staff also has the lobby beautifully decorated, and fresh cookies and coffee/tea are available at any hour! The included breakfast is always well stocked and includes a large variety of foods to choose from, both hot and cold.
This was our second year staying with you. We are a family of 15, and take this trip every year to cut down our Christmas tree. You have accommodated us all on the same floor and near each other. All of the Staff are amazing! And the Lobby Is Decorated BEAUTIFULLY! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY!
Good location to where I needed to go. Very close to restaurants. Also, very nice staff. I actually slept better than I normally do in a motel. Also, they are pet friendly. And, even though the room was small it kind of reminded me of simpler times. Silly I know, but brought back a few memories.
This is the second time my son & I have stayed here. As this is an older hotel, it isn't perfect. However, it was clean and comfortable, the staff is very accommodating, it was close to where we wanted to be and the price was good.
