A great place to stay and we will definitely return. The full kitchen was perfect since you can easily spend $40 or $50 just for breakfast in a place like Sister Bay. Two bedrooms, 3 TVs, excellent WIFI, Super clean. Even a balcony to relax with a glass of wine after fighting Door County traffic. And since it's secluded in the woods with its own parking you don't have the parking problems of Fish Creek and Sister Bay.
The Door County Parkwood Lodge offers many activities, including a tennis court. It offers free WiFi access and is 1.5 km away from Peninsula State Park.

The bed was very comfortable. Grounds and room were well maintained. Amenities were wonderful. Had full size coffee machine. We travel a lot and you just don't see that anymore. Also, loved that they provided paper towel in the room. Have never seen that before. The staff was wonderful. Very nice place!

The room as very spacious. The rooms haven't been updated so they're just a little bit worn but still useful. Very comfortable.

Ephraim is a beautiful town! Gorgeous scenery and shoreline. Excellent restaurants delicious food! We had a great time at the Fish Boil at the Old Post Office. Ephraim was so close to other towns but it truly has everything you need. Felt like a home away from home!

We couldn't have found a more beautiful area to spend our time. The hotel was perfect and had everything we needed. The little porch was a wonderful surprise and very private. It was nice to be able to walk to everything--the park, restaurants, churches, the old cemetery. It was our first visit to Wisconsin and we left knowing we will want to return again. Beautiful country, amazing BIG lake and very friendly people.

The whole Door County area is beautiful - you just have to determine what community you would like to stay near. There are plenty of outdoor activities from hiking the trails of state parks to biking around the towns or just visiting the little shops. There are always people out and about!

Quiet and quick drive to surrounding towns for exceptional food and shops. Weather was not good for water sports but great for browsing. Pool and hot tub were awesome and nice size. Restaurant was not open our first day so missed that opportunity. Will stay again.
It was extremely comfortable. Tracy was charming. The location is perfect. I stayed out of season so many of the places in Ephraim were closed. That didn’t really matter because there was plenty to do in either Fish Creek or Sister Bay. Both these quant picturesque towns were mere minutes from me. I personally like traveling out of season because I get my own experience and I’m not forced by the crowds.
The staff went out of their way when booking to get us on a lower floor for my husband and we appreciated that very much. All the staff from check in to leaving the following morning was very friendly. It rained the first day so we would've loved to have spent another night just to enjoy the hotel and its surroundings more. Loved the continental breakfast. It was just enough to start our day.
We were immediately welcomed by the owners. The grounds were very nice, complete with a fire pit, a hammock and games. You could mingle with other visitors and the owners or enjoy the privacy of your cabin. The cabin was clean and complete with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect. It was a quick walk to the beach and downtown Ephraim. Also very dog friendly!
The resort is very clean, flowers growing everywhere, pool and hot tub the best we have seen. Staff so helpful, especially Rachel, who helped us get a lower floor room 2nd 2 days due to my husbands broken foot as they dont have an elevator. Both rooms were like new. The private beach with chairs across the road was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this place to stay in Ephraim.
My sisters and I never made it to the hotel as we were called home on a medical emergency an hour out. I called Somerset right away and then called again later hoping to salvage some of my $298 down payment. Unfortunately after summer writings and phone calls I didn’t hear back. Was hoping for some type of credit for a future trips.
Good location, bigger than expected, full kitchen, friendly staff. Patio was a nice size and super clean- normally I’m a little squeamish about hotel patios because of bugs and spider webs, but you could tell they actually clean theirs, not a spider web in sight!
Exceptional location - just steps to Ephraim Beach and shops; great people, comfortable cottage! Enjoyed the outdoor games and fire pit. Tranquil setting. In the heart of DC with Fish Creek to the south and Sister Bay to the north.
This was the first time I stayed at Ephraim Shores Resort. It was wonderful! The bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. The location is the best in Door County, right across from the water. I will definitely be back!
View from the room was limited but decent although balcony was small. Private beach had limited seating and space-bring your own camping chairs/beach towels. Walking distance to downtown Ephraim. Beds were comfortable.
Very clean, nice renovated bathroom with a great shower head. On the small side for the price, but typical for Door County. Centrally located to Egg Harbor, Ephraim, Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek etc.
The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and did not have to use our car once. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and very friendly.
