The friendliness of one gentle lady who was present both when I checked in and when I checked out. That made all the difference for me. I travel often across the country and I stayed in many hotels. What I have observed is that staff are friendlier when you check in than when you check out. In the case of the Fairfield in Dickson, I was delighted to have been proven wrong. The most beautiful place. A credit to the owners for the detail. And the staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly busy but still made time for us, making it the most perfect getaway for us. It offered privacy and discretion, but felt like a home away from home
