They have hired a bunch of Ace's with an exceptional cleaning degree I think, everything looked taken care of. I had a room on second floor without any outside window tumble air-vent option. Bathroom was great although the shower spray was eco small water flow, and a tab leaked a bit unto the sink area nothing to worry all was taken care of like the fresh pancake and wafel breakfast. Anyway its a peaceful quiet town, with a dinner option next to the Quality Inn.

The reception staff were very pleasant but could not always help - due to lack of training and care on the part of Comfort Hotel. But having to make excuses for the lack of amenitiies is not fair to them - see below.

Everyone on the staff was very nice and helpful, and went out of their way for us. The room was a little older, but very nice and clean. This is a pet-friendly hotel, but we heard no noises and did not experience anything that kept us from sleeping soundly. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, and the pool was lovely. My whole family had a really good time. This hotel is a bit less expensive than other places we've stayed, and I'd say for the price it was an incredible value. We would definitely stay there again.

This place is not for a regular traveler.
This place is not for a regular traveler. It is old to say the least. Holes in desk top, rusty stove top, used condom in what was suppose to be a cleaned room, counter tops all coming apart, outlets falling out of wall or damaged so plugs would not stay in them etc, etc, etc...... This place is used for living in by immigrents and welfare persons. I would never stay here again!!

Well located on the route between NYC and The Catskill area.
Well located on the route between NYC and The Catskill area. The hotel is comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. the Red Line restaurant is next door and had a good atmosphere and food. The Mexican, Maya Cafe nearby was good too. It has a great choice of dishes and what we had was delicious.

I lived in Fishkill for 19 years, It's a nice community, very safe. There is pretty much every kind of product or service within a very short drive. There's lots of Revolutionary War history in the area, if that's something you're interested in.
While it's not exactly close to NYC, it is close enough to spend the day there and be back the same night. It's on the same side of the Hudson, so there are no tolls or rivers to cross between Fishkill and the city line.
One surprising fact is that there are no Cracker Barrels or full Super Walmarts/Sam's Club closer to the city.
It's not exactly cheap, but things will only get more expensive the closer you get to NYC. I miss it. I have fond memories of living there.

I love visiting Fishkill (from the UK) and take at least one week-long vacation there every year. The local people are friendly and although there are good tourist amenities (lots of local hotels, shops, restaurants, cinema etc), you don't feel like tourist. There are also good local hiking trails, historical sites and other Americana which I was enjoy exploring. I've visited this small town 5 times and have just booked to go again.

Every thing was good.
Every thing was good. Except the pool which was very clean and nice size but it was cold to get into. I think it needed a water heater.
The continental breakfast was quite good. Cereals, muffins, bread, bagels,English muffins, a pancake making machine which gave two pancakes at a time. Also there were yogurts different flavors, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, jelly, butter, cream cheese
Coffee, apple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, hot cocoa.
Only it would be nice if it was opened to at least 10 am.
There quite a few restaurants along the areas. 8 minutes away was a Walmart and other dining areas, gas stations, Dunkin’ Donuts, Diner.
This hotel is just off Rte 84 and perfect for a short stop on a road trip. All the basic amenities were there, from bathroom toiletries and towels to a mini fridge, coffeemaker, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I did not notice noises from other rooms or the hallway. Also good location for places to eat and other stores. A couple places were in walking distance from the hotel, and there was a pharmacy about a half mile drive away.
Hello,
I could only say it was a hotel that I needed. This would only be due for the need of one. $200.00 + single night seems a bit over. Considering a ice machine on any floor did not exist. No ice trays available when asked for at the front desk. This could bring light to “like” $400 + you would perceive more. I understand this sounds negative, this is only the truth,
I would figure it’s worth more then zero feedback.
Thank you,
James Servello
The facility smelled of marijuana. I believe they use this facility for a shelter. I did not feel safe. I had a child with me and the smell of marijuana was horrible. I will never go to this facility again. And I think I overpaid for what the rooms look like. The bathtubs were stained. The rugs ripped the kitchen and had cigarette burn marks. All in all the worst hotel ever I will never stay here again. I’m sorry, but there was nothing that I liked.
Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The staff are highly professional and very courteous. They are very helpful.
The location of the facility is great - route 9 and 84. The property is well maintained and clean. The daily breakfast is a good value and the breakfast area is comfortable. Thank you Wyndham Fishkill.
Always a pleasure to stay here. Peter at the front desk was absolutely amazing during our check in experience. His customer service was beyond friendly, efficient and very informing! What great hospitality. it is also always very clean & comfortable. thanks hampton inn fishkill, i’ll be back!
The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! The room we originally got, the a/c did not work, staff changed our room with no problems whatsoever, even kept us in a neighboring room to family.
The waffles were amazing.
The hotel is centrally located to everything. We were very pleased.
The bed was amazingly comfortable after a long drive. Our room was very large and spacious. It was a very interesting layout compared to normal hotels (which I liked, kind of like a cabin style layout.) Shower worked well.
I thought the multilevel suite was very nice. It was spacious for my family of 6. I liked the pool and fire pit/barbecue area. I liked that the hotel was near restaurants and shopping centers and close to the expressway.
Our stay was wonderful. We decided to stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fishkill because we didn't find room at Beacon. The hotel is super clean and confortable.
Small room but very cozy and comfortable. Very quiet hotel made for a peaceful evening.
Conveniently located for an evening at Daryl's House and a visit to Beacon, NY.
Our room was large and clean. Very quiet. Location of hotel convenient for our needs. Staff was polite and helpful. All in all a great choice for our stay.
