Looked way better in the photos. Room decor was ok. Definitely an older,a bit tired hotel, n quite pricey with the Canadian to US exchange.

The rooms were a lot cleaner than I thought they were going to be. The price was really cheap, so I was very pleasantly surprised with the room.

Came to look at houses in various towns!!
Came to look at houses in various towns!! Sea Lion Cave was interesting. The Pancake Mill is a great place to get breakfast. Of course it was raining a lot so it was not the time to go shopping and looking at other places...but we will be back when the weather is better!!

The Waterfront Depot restaurant shouldn't be missed but get a reservation. The food and service are top notch.
Traveler's Cove has really good Mexican food. The ambience is fair but there is a nice view. Great service.
The Restobar restaurant should be avoided. The food is terrible, and the ambience is ok if you like batting flies away from your food. The service is below average.

There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town.
There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town. Both are right next to Old Town. I have chosen Old Town Inn for both of my stays in Florence. I really enjoy Florence Old Town; it is right along the banks of the Suislaw River. Cute shops and restaurants abound. Many a harbor seal to be found in the river. If you get tired of the river, and Old Town, don’t fret…the sand dunes and the ocean are just on the other side of Hwy 101. Florence is a larger Oregon Coastal Town; therefore if you need something the quaint shops of Old Town cannot provide, Florence has you covered. Florence is also just over an hour away from Eugene, and Newport (Yachats is only 25 min away). Will you enjoy Florence? Absolutely!

I have always loved Florence. The Old Town has lots of good restaurants and shopping. It's very relaxing and is nice and cool in the summer! There is a really nice nursery on the north end of town and you can drive around the countryside and looks around.

Sea Lion Caves were worth the price! Old Town is a must! Darlingtoniia Preserve was a quick 5 minute adventure. Too much to do in a short trip! Lovely town, but very, very windy when hot in the valley.

I love Florence Oregon!
I love Florence Oregon! We visited the beach where they blew up the dead whale in the 1970's! 😜 Biggest down fall is their aren't a lot of restaurants to choose from. The ones they have, have good food, just not a lot of dining space. Beautiful weekend lots of sun.q
There’s no getting around it, this hotel is in need of refurbishment. But any shortcomings here are more than made up for by the attitude of the staff. John on reception, is the consummate professional, going well beyond my expectations to help me out when I had a transport problem. I really can’t praise his attitude highly enough - whatever they’re paying him isn’t enough.
wonderful wooden floor, no carpet and it's just beyond praise for a hotel next to the beach where there are wonderful sand dunes and of course you bring sand into your room no matter how you shake it off and usually it's a big problem with the carpet. And here it's just wonderful , and in the room and in the corridors just the floor.
Classic American motel that is close to the main road, has free parking and clean rooms and no frills. We used the motel for a weekend in Florence. There was a short 15 minute walk to Florence old town center and two good breakfast diners (Dunes and Brown Hen) minutes from the motel.
Although there are few amenities, the Landmark Inn is basic, simple, and very pleasant. It was absolutely quiet at night, and the inn is in a good location - within walking distance from Old Town. This will be our go-to place when we come to Florence again.
This was our sixth or seventh (or eighth) stay at Landmark Inn. Obviously it's our favorite place to stay in Florence. Great staff. Well-appointed spaciousr ooms. Great light, lots of windows. Walking distance to town. Can't go wrong.
The lighthouse Inn was clean, comfortable and good value for the money. The age of the hotel shows in the room but the bed was firm and very comfortable!. Very close to the very quaint "old town" where we had an excellent breakfast.
I really loved the room we had. my great granddaughter loved being able to walk out of door beach. she’s only 4 but loves your hotel. it was for her. also your swimming pool and jacuzzi was great. thank you
Love the quiet location, the area for my labradoodle to run and the wonderful staff! Super clean retro environment and not just 2 Keurig cups!! Always my first choice when exploring Florence!
Clean spacious home for our group of 5. The host had excellent communication. We would choose this place again for our next visit to Florence. Thank you for a great stay!
Clean hotel, with friendly staff. Close to downtown Florence too. Very quiet and peacful balcony overlooking downtown Florence and the harbor. Breakfast was great too!
It is older but it is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are pretty large and the staff is helpful. And they are pet friendly with a reasonable nightly fee.
Clean room, excellent location to downtown restaurants, there was no hotel breakfast which would have been nice, room was clean and contained all we needed.
Location, style of the little shed/cottage, cozy and love that it is pet friendly without any extra fees. Had everything you need for a little cozy place.
