Great location if you’re willing to explore Key West, Everglades or Miami and surroundings. Swimming pool area is super comfortable, either to swim or just chill by the table. Rooms were really clean, the area is quiet so you can get a good rest. The personel was friendly and willing to help at any time.

I felt safe and calm both in the building and outside the gardens. The staff were very helpful, and many of the residents were very friendly. I highly recommend!
Not a destination, but perfect for passing through.
Not a destination, but perfect for passing through. I was on my way to dive in Key Largo. All I needed was a good night's rest without paying for an expensive room in Key Largo. Florida City/Homestead was 30 minutes out, just right for a late arrival and early departure. Plenty of affordable food choices and services.

The location was wonderful.
The location was wonderful. The area had various things to do. Everyone should make it their first and only stop before heading south into the other keys, experience them all, then return back to Florida City and enjoy the rest of your stay. Don't forget to book a room at Holiday Inn Express for a great time, and awesome breakfast and dip in their very clean pool.

I liked best Everglades and Biscayne National Parks that are close to Florida City. Coral Castle was also very interesting. The outlet mall had some good deals and numerous restaurants are in close proximity. Both O'Deeny's and Yardie Spice restaurants make excellent and unique meals.

I'm a Miami resident and had family who lived here in the past so am well familiar with Florida City. Great waypoint for Robert is Here, the Everglades, the big mall, the upper Keys. Pretty long drive from Miami but easy to find everything in this gateway town.

We picked this location because of traveling to Key West the next day and we were able to visit Miami Beach and Bayside Marketplace in Miami and we took went on Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventures there. We didn't really do anything in Florida City or Homestead.

Was informed that city was an unsafe area and full of crime.
Was informed that city was an unsafe area and full of crime. But that didn’t seem to be the case.
Besides the idiot drivers bearing Florida license plates, driving in Florida City with the layout was good. Be prepared to be cut off repeatedly. But this epidemic was everywhere in Florida.
Florida City was centrally located to our sightseeing areas and much more affordable than others.
Lots of great eateries.
Take an airboat tour. (Groupon)
Take your kids to “Robert is Here”
Just don’t shop at the Wal-Mart thinking it’ll be like your own local Wal-Mart. It’s the worst.
The hotel is conveniently located. There are other restaurants nearby if the free breakfast offered by the hotel is not to your liking. The Outlets are nearby, only a short drive up the road. The Biscayne National Park is a short drive away with fantastic coastal trail. A longer trip out to Key Largo is feasible
The room served its purpose - somewhere clean to sleep comfortably and shower. The pool was clean to swim in or or simply relax in the shade.
There is ample parking for cars.
Breakfast typical for US standards with some sweet stuff; plastic cutlery doesn't leave good impression.
Breakfast at the pool was nice option.
Internet in the room not working at all; only in the lobby and breakfast area which was annoying and was not possible to fix by the hotel staff. Location very good for those travelling to Key West or Everglades. Plenty of fast food chains around with good breakfast options. Larga parking in front of the hotel
Room was perfect. Price was right for a very clean hotel located as they say. At the gate to the Keys.. Staff was great and helpful with all my needs. I rode my $30,000 Harley and felt comfortable it was safe while I slept, which is key for me. Breakfast was perfect with several options. I will definitely consider staying there again in my travels.
Very clean and very friendly stuff!!! Rooms were quiet even though Travelodge is near to the street. Lot of possibilities for food around... Taco Bell, Mc Donalds or Denny's...
Great Location for visiting Keys and Everglades and Miami....
We liked the pool. Also very clean.
This brand always ensure good quality standards and a cost-effective stay for travellers.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, well equiped. This hotel also offered a free guest laudry and I really appreciated this unique attention given to the guests (Thank you!)
The hotel staff was friendly and nice. The breakfast was good for Covid days. The location is great and around stores and restaurants as well as close distance to driving to the keys. The family went swimming in the pool and had fun.
The location was great for what we needed. We picked this hotel because it was so close to the keys without having to pay the keys prices. It was great that this room had a kitchen and sofa. Both were nice to have.
For a 2-star hotel it was very nice. We have stayed in three other 2-star Inns, and this was the nicest one. The location was great, and we enjoyed our stay.
The beds were comfy, the breakfast was okay/good.
Breakfast was great for this type of hotel, the best on our trip. The property look very well taken care of, nice landscaping and the room was comfortable and clean. Excellent value for the price.
At the start to the florida keys. One of the last affordable hotels before crossing. You could stay here and still enjoy the keys if you don't mind driving each day.
Great location, friendly staff and a nice, big pool. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel, and there was enough space for everyone to eat breakfast.
At the time of booking, what I liked was the price because it was cheaper than some of the other hotels, but I don't think the price is worth getting sick for.
