I stay at the Pod frequently during the year as it is near family. The rates have climbed now as we are getting into the prime visitor season so of course I don't like to pay such more now for a room which is more basic but clean and quiet and centrally located.

Great location, central, very close to everything (Times Square, subway, grocery store, Madison Square garden..)- walkable distance. 24/7 reception, which is very important if you have late flight (we came around 3am), very friendly receptionist.
