I normally seek Hampton Inn . Was very disappointed. This one was more like a run down motel-6. It was very run down. Carpets were worn bare and appeared not vacuumed. Shower stall had tons of poor job caulking . Bathroom tile floor old/dirty. Radio clock did not work. Over all Hampton inns have gone down.

Not really much to do, so if you have kids, this isn't a good vacation spot. We just vend/attend reptile shows in the area is all, so our stays are short lived. There are plenty of restaurants and the citizens are friendly. Gas prices are lower than average in some areas, mountain views are amazing..PEOPLE CANNOT DRIVE HERE THOUGH! Lots of slamming on brakes, cutting off, etc. Similar to Atlanta, GA traffic, but could be worse. Street racing is a thing here, especially at night.

Check-in was smooth. Room was as pictured.
Check-in was smooth. Room was as pictured. Hotel was in the middle of everything we needed to get to. Room was quiet even tho we were on the corner. Whirlpool worked its majic every evening. I have to hand it to the House keeping staff, this room stayed spotless! Check out went well. I would easily stay again.
The only minor issue was pillows too hard and the couch needed re-strung. I’m sure they would have accommodated me bad I complained to them directly.

Gadsden is such a great area I bought a house here and moved from Georgia. It has small town quiet appeal, but tons of shopping and activities and who can forget the Falls! The school system is amazing and we are enjoying our new little home and community

We were in Gadsden for one evening and the next day until...
We were in Gadsden for one evening and the next day until about 1:00pm. We went specifically to see the Christmas lights and Noccalula Falls Park, and I would recommend that to anyone who loves Christmas lights. We had to book our date and time of arrival at the park online, so we watched the weather forecast and chose an evening that looked good. We encountered a bit of a traffic snarl (approximately 15-min. delay) between our hotel and the Falls, and I have a feeling that that is a regular occurrence at that spot. Our GPS had us make a U-turn just after we made it through that snarl, and I think that was the only way to do it. But we had left the hotel in time and arrived at the Falls a few minutes before our appointed time. No trouble finding parking at that time, but maybe if arriving later in the evening you would have to park farther out in the parking lot. We arrived at 5:00pm, just at dusk, and boarded the train that encircles the park with no waiting. I noticed that the lines to board got longer as the evening progressed. After exiting the train, we walked and viewed the light displays for about 1.5 hours. There were vendors with food, drink, and light-up souveniers. Loved the train ride and the lights. Also saw Santa and the Grinch. The waterfall is lit up too. It was so beautiful. The Children's Museum the next day was fun for our 3-year old. Would have enjoyed a stroll downtown but it had turned very windy and cold. All in all, a nice trip and just what I hoped it would be! There is more to see and do in Gadsden but we didn't stay long enough to explore everything.

The rooms were clean. Parking was good.
I did not get to stay in the rooms I had booked. I booked two rooms with king size beds. Was given two different rooms that had 2 double beds in each room. Told the management it was wrong. They said it was booking.com’s fault. They told me when you send the reservation to them that you do not specify what type of room was reserved. Would not do anything about it. They knew we had no choice because most hotels were sold out for that night. Probably will not stay here again. They also did not want to give me a receipt. Told me I had to get it from booking.com. I continue to insist on my receipt, they did finally print me one out. I have booked through booking.com several times, and this is the first time I have had a problem.
My family and I loved the room we were in.. checking in was a breeze. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The bed was nice and firm, and the sitting area we had was a huge plus. The flat screen was huge and in just the right spot. The hotel itself was in a great location.. not to far from all the store and a great park and boardwalk not to far. A all together great town to have car problems in, everyone we came across was beyond polite and helpful.
It was a fair place very dated inside, lighting poor and I didn’t like the fact that the room AC was off so it was stuffy initially when I entered the room. I had to to turn on the air conditioning it eventually cooled the area over time. It was a quick turnaround trip and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. It was 73 rate but I would rank it as a 45 dollar room.
It was just a basic hotel room. Nothing special, except for the location was great! Right near the interstate, shopping, several restaurants within just a couple minutes walk. The rooms were starting to show signs of their age, but still kept up well. I would suggest take your own pillow. Not one of the 4 available were comfortable.
Liked the parking accommodations and friendliness of staff, also restaurants in walking distance was ideal. Was impressed with the new door locks and streaming TVs. When I arrived I thought the hotel had been remodeled recently because of how well the hotel lobby looked. Would definitely stay again.
This is my second time at this hotel. The superior king room was as described. I felt safe and secure. The bed was very very comfortable and I just loved it. The checkin and checkout went smoothly. The desk attendant was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.
very bad experience with this hotel I do not even want to remember according to my arrival it was 3:00 am I had an emergency and I arrived at 5:00 am and they said that the room was no longer available if I paid for a service that had an expiration time of 11:00 A.M
The room was very clean. It has a breakfast in the morning, a pool, and an exercise room. It is very near downtown Gadsden and the interstate. You can request service for your room frequently instead of like other hotels, where you might get it every fourth day.
there was nothing here about my stay that was inviting or comfortable. NOTHING AT ALL!! There was an incident that involved a man and wife, and the female was murdered and hotel was caught fire. They have not remodeled fix all the fire damage
We chose not to do breakfast at the hotel. Although renovation was going on I felt coffee could have been served in lobby as Hampton Inn has always had a very nice breakfast at all locations, coffee in room is not as acceptable.
The room was outstanding. Had a small kitchen that was unexpected but nice. The outdoor area was lovely to drink our morning coffee with a view of the river. The staff was so welcoming when we checked in and at checkout.
My room was just as described, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and I had a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you!
The size of the rooms the rooms were extremely large and the sitting area in the suites is completely separate from the sleeping areas that is a very nice upgrade for most hotels.
