It's a great town, where the locals made you feel welcome.
It's a great town, where the locals made you feel welcome. Hightower pub was our favorite breakfast spot, and for the most part we were able to get around by car. We were able to see the northern lights on our way into town, and definitely took advantage of the lookout spots along the main highway. The views of the surrounding areas are absolutely breathtaking!

Gorgeous Setting, especially Alyeska Resort.
Gorgeous Setting, especially Alyeska Resort. However, our 2 nights with almost 2 full days was perfect. Not much to do but hike, eat, and relax.
We did 2 trips: Half hour to Wildlife Conservatory (excellent) and drove to Whittier an additional 15 min (45 min total). Okay. Liked Seward better.

This was a beautiful cabin b&b.
This was a beautiful cabin b&b. It was in the woods but near everything. The people that ran it were very helpful and great to talk to. We had a full kitchen, and big bedroom and comfortable bed. All the supplies we could think of. They had a hot tub open until 11 pm. And a bonus across the street was the Double Muskee restaurant. I guess it is real famous. We sat out in lawn chairs and enjoyed the quiet. The only thing is we could have used more light. This is a must stay. FABULOUS... Thank you Rachel

Kitchen window doens’t close.
Kitchen window doens’t close. Tv couch overly overly worn for comfort. Bathroom baseboards full of dirt and hair. Mixed matched dishes. One stove burner dos not work. No ice trays. Floor unswept. I sat in my car reading instead of waiting in an apartment I rented.
Led to believe rented an A frame cabin, not basement.
Loved location. Walked to Girdwood Brewery. Small Safeway at end of street. Unobstructed view of the Mountain. Adequately stocked kitchen, was able to cook dinner one night and breakfast each day. We locked ourselves out and called number and got assistance via phone to get back in (don't lock the handle when leaving...just use keypad). Have both a Keurig and a coffee pot. We didn't use the hot tub but it seemed functional.

The accommodations are comfortable, cozy and has a very "homey" feel, complete with a kitchen with condiments, coffee and all of the little things. They take great attention to detail to make sure guests feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

Great location in downtown Girdwood/Alyeska, walkable to most things, great walking/running trails nearby. The place is spacious and there was a lot of kitchen equipment (though no cooking oil or coffee grounds). It's a loft with 4 beds on the upper level loft and two real bedrooms on the main floor.
Not worth the money. Very good location and staff. But the hotel rooms are super tiny and out of date. Not worth the money. Not enough space for parking. The extra parking is super dark at night... Don't dare to walk around
I’ve been going to Alyeska for over 20 years. It’s a beautiful hotel that makes family time on the mountain relaxing and enjoyable. I love the shops in the hotel and the indoor pool.
The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The hotel public areas and grounds are very nice. We had dinner at the Seven Glaciers which was pretty expensive for what it was.
Great location. Loved this property with good views in quiet town of Girdwood very close to Tram and ski resort.
The beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped.
