This area is absolutely beautiful and pristine! It is like a more mellow Lake Tahoe and so much more untouched. The lakes and waterfalls are amazing and the friendly, small-town charm is very genuine! We loved our stay and will be back. We are even considering a vacation or retirement home for the future. We loved all of our dining experiences here as well - the Eureka Peak Brewery inside the Chalet View Lodge Inn was delicious, the breakfast/lunch menu was excellent and super fresh at the Graeagle Restaurant, and dinner at The Grizzly Grille in Blairsden was exquisite! Golf and cocktails were amazing at the Plumas Pines Golf Course. Fishing at the many lakes and hiking to the waterfalls was well worth the drive, we loved being unplugged while we were there.
