This is a great place to stay if you have to stay in the area and don't want to spend a fortune, The rooms are dated but spacious and comfortable, The couple that take care of this place are friendly and do a great job. It's sad that the restaurant is no longer open but it's what to expect in this day and age. Don't expect the Marriot, but it's a great place to stay and feel safe, great location.

The use of my relative's community pool was excellent, very well kept. Restaurants and stores were readily available. Florida drivers can be terrible and rude to those with an out-of-state license plate, but navigating the city went well. It was a nice place to visit. It was just right after that hurricane Ian. But it was stil up and running so I give it An A for legoland being opened when we arrived. It would have probably been a great place to visit before the hurricane hit. The water was very high hope the people who live in the in the are stay safe.

This city is a dangerous place. The locals are not friendly. There's nothing you can do in this city at night. This town needs years of development. Wal-Mart, Aldi, few restaurants are the only new places you can go. I never coming back to that town.

I don’t know anything about city but the estate Southern Dunes is very nice golf course estate and safe.Haines city not far away from Disney world and Universal studios.Overall very good location for a family holidays.

State Motel was able to meet all the needs of the crew by being close to the job, having parking for oversized vehicles, nice, clean rooms, and having quality restaurants within walking distance. If we need to return we will definitely be staying here again
