It's north central Maine, close to the New Brunswick border and the TransCanada highway, US Route 1, and I-95. It's not a vacation stop, but it's a nice community. Less dumpy than Caribou and Presque Isle.

I visited some local places & my brother’s log cabin in Amity. What a beautiful place- Northern Maine.
Looking forward to my next mini vacation in 2 weeks. Absolutely wonderful place to be- most friendly people I’ve ever met. We should all strive to be like the great folks of Northern Maine- laid back, relaxed, kind, funny, and generous. Best place on earth.
