Location was key. Not in the busy part of the city but close enough to key amenities. We were travelling through so as an overnight stop this was perfect. Also happened to be the night before July 4th celebrations. Rooms are bigger than expected and aircon was amazing.

After we got used to the gravel roads off Rt.22, the location turned out to be very convenient. There is a Giant and a gas station nearby, and some local attractions like Lincoln Caves is close. The host was very nice, (although it was a holiday weekend, and nobody answered the phone to reach them several times.) The best part was the 'happy' animals on the property, especially Walter, the male turkey! He even climbed up the hill to our unit to see us off at the end of our stay! The location is not clearly listed on any website, but Hawn's Overlook is very close from this location. The sunset, looking down the Lake from the top of the hill was beautiful, and memorable. This area offers so many outdoor activities, and we hope to visit again sometime in the future.

I would not recommend this place. We were in an upstairs apt with very narrow steep stairs. I felt the cite did not discribe this to me. I am 72 years and would not have booked such a place. The host still to this day has never responded to any of my calls and messages. I left 2 days early and called her to let her know and of course no answer so I left a message and no response. This was a huge disappointment to my husband and I.

Nice old Pennsylvania town with friendly people and architecture from days gone by. The Isett Heritage Museum was a pleasant surprise and well worth a visit. Boxer's pub served us a very nice lunch at reasonable prices.

It’s pretty rural (I’m a city girl) but the scenery can’t be beat. It’s an adorable town with federal architecture and a sweet, friendly feel. Trains go barreling through there 24/7, but after a while it’s just part of the background. Raystown Lake is simply gorgeous and has boat launch and beach. Mimi’s is a great place for a drink/dinner.

We were in the area for a wedding so did no sightseeing. We were pleased with the location and the picnic pavilion when we first arrived to have a picnic with other family members. It is a beautiful area and many boaters stayed here.

Friendly, Quality service with smiles and good conversation. Clean updated room. Very good HVAC and response time of temperature within the room. Nice view all around property on the hill location. East access/exit right at our door with our vehicle. Would lodge there again. Restaurant right next door at the Inn's entrance with excellent selection of food.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Spacious and clean room. Pool was refreshing. Breakfast area was well supplied and was enough to get you going. Excellent coffee and plenty of it! Great area for freight train spotting! Literally outside your hotel window!!!
The location is perfect in the mountains and the animals were a treat. The firepits were very nice and cozy. The cabins were very clean and also very cozy. The owners are very nice and so friendly and made sure that everything was great for us.
Room was clean, beds comfortable, and personnel friendly, breakfast was excellent. Location perfect for Raystown Lake boat launch , as we trailered a small boat. We could walk from hotel to a few food and drink locations.
Such a great spot with the kindest hosts. Cool bit of history too, cabins were relocation from old lake location, very homey and ties in so well to nature adventures compared to a hotel. Will definitely be staying again
Cabin is beautiful. Quiet setting. Sat and watched the squirrels play in the yard while drinking morning coffee. Was very nicely decorated for Christmas. We loved the wood detailing and the fireplace.
I actually LOVED the cleanliness of the hotel. It was also very quiet. However the cleaning is what impressed. It was better then Major 5 start hotel that I’ve been to far as the cleanliness.
Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with a logical layout. Many new hotels just aren’t well thought out, but this one was.
