Hotel is in a good location and walkable to beach, restaurants, shopping and the pier. But hotel was run down and needs a major update & upgrade. Front desk was not responsive to report of noisy guests next to us.

Compared to the rest of Southern California, it was pleasant. I noticed the cleanliness, no graffiti, and the traffic flowed well. There was adequate choices of shopping and restaurants. Nice and pleasant over all. It wasn't infested with gangs like the rest of the state is. OOPS, I forgot, that is who runs that state!

The receptionist was friendly and efficient, it’s in a good prime position but Needs serious work to make it decent ( clean and in good repair)
Very dated and dirty - pool was closed by authorities only a week ago because of this
Sofa in the room was disgustingly dirty and the carpet was filthy
The hairdryer did work it only if you held a button in the whole time ( almost impossible to use) my husband had to press in the button while I dried my hair !
2 nights here was way too long
Being charged $30 to park was poor too and of our 6 week trip this is the only place we paid to park in the grounds

I can't stop bragging about the location of this property.
I can't stop bragging about the location of this property. It was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Since the dog beach is only about 1.5 miles away the dogs had a great time meeting new friends. The price was reasonable and I would absolutely stay again and again and again!! Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

The thing about Huntington Beach is if you come on a Monday, it’s not as crowded as the weekend. On Tuesdays nights, they have a little festival for the locals with crafts paintings really amazing food and multiple entertainers an old classic rock band with too many more features to acknowledge, this is on Main Street I came to go surf the pier and it was the best. I also went to Costa Mesa to see the Chargers football training camp which is only 10 minutes away. Definitely recommend Huntington Beach everybody’s really nice.

charged to park, was no breakfast not even a piece of toast but would sell you a muffin for $8.00. Pick another hotel unless you like paying for things other hotels include! 1-10 this place gets a 6

I don’t think there was anything I didn’t like. This hotel goes above and beyond. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted by the staff opening our doors. They helped get our stuff out and up to our room. Each time we came or left they vallet would retrieve our car. Super short walk to the beach and only two blocks from the Main Street with lots of shopping and restaurants. It’s also next door to a fun little shopping center. We ordered breakfast one day and it was the best room service we’ve ever had. Would for sure stay here again.
1.)I have some mobility issues and they have rooms on the ground floor which are only separated from the parking lot by a sidewalk. This makes it much easier to deal with bags.
2.)The maids and front desk people were all very nice and helpful. They gave great suggestions for places to eat, etc.
3.)The mattress was great, one of the nicest, firm mattresses I've had in a motel or hotel.
4.)The mini frig was a fairly good sized one and the microwave newer.
Surprisingly good hotel. Large free car park, nice big and inviting lobby, extremely welcoming receptionist, nice big room, with good big beds and a big bathroom. Everything clean and nice. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the bathing facilities, that will have to be next time. There is a buffet breakfast for $15 + tax and it was the best breakfast I have ever had at an American hotel. I can definitely recommend this hotel, very good value for money.
The room was large and comfortable, and the beds were great. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute drive to Huntington Beach. There is a cute outdoor shopping mall across the street from the hotel, which is very convenient for eating and drinking. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of outdoor parking. Parking is 10 USD per night, which is cheap compared to other hotels/locations where you can pay 40 USD per night.
This property definitely has location. We stayed 2 nights and lucked into sunny days. The hotel is right on the Pacific Coast Highway just a very few blocks from the pier. Good food all around. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. it was fun to hang out on their outside porch. Staff is very, very nice.
If you want a laidback experience this is the place to go! This is my favorite place to stay at in Huntington Beach, its right across from the beach and all of the shops and restaurants are all in a walkable vicinity. The people running the place is doing an amazing job, I definitely recommend!!!
The Photos did not reflect the conditions. The whole place looked a lot rougher in person. I had searched only for pet friendly hotels, but they did not allows pets there. To beat it all there was mot enough parking for the number of rooms they had and I had to park on the street.
This little hotel is a great value. Near to the ocean in the PCH. It’s basic, no amenities, but very comfortable and clean. Coffee in the room, a microwave and mini fridge. A few steps from a delightful locals coffee shop and groceries if needed.
Steps away from the beach! Old hotel with charm. Clean and well kept. Staff is friendly. Good pancakes with Continental breakfast. Short walk to Romano Cucina for the best Italian food on the west coast!
The close proximity to the beach(right across the street), walking distance to restaurants and shops on Main Street, and the parking rate for hotel guests...$10 a night!
