Breakfast was excellent & so was the staff! It wasn't overly crowded and very comfortable. It was clean, with plenty of food available. I especially loved the waffle bar.

Having DirecTV was nice since I have it at home. Made it easy to find programs to watch.

The Johnstown Flood Memorial and Johnstown Flood museum were very interesting. The museum had no on-site parking; had to park on side street with meters or across the street and over a bridge for free parking. Disappointing that the inclined railway would not be in operation.until sometime in 2023.

Johnstown and the surrounding area is steeped with history.
Johnstown and the surrounding area is steeped with history. You can visit the museum and learn about the devastating Flood of 1889, and go to the Flood Memorial several miles up river to see and experience the origin of said flood.
If you're into railroad history, it's a short drive to the Horseshoe Curve. They have a really cool funicula that takes visitors up the mountain.
If you're into more recent history, you can go to the Flight 93 Memorial. This is the site where the brave passengers and crew of the flight ended their struggle to prevent further tragedy on September 11, 2001.

Love my hometown, let alone the hotel I stay it in town is probably one of the best ones you can go to besides maybe Richland but then you're not in town. But so many things to see and do around town. Including the inclined plane, so many rivers to do things on coal tubing down the river, fishing, lakes, dams, swimming. Places to take your quads, bikes, camping. Good places to eat, museums, historical places. We have a little bit of everything even some amusement parks closed to the area, and not far from Pittsburgh. There's a lot to like about my tiny town honestly. An if covid wasn't happening at the moment there's so many festivals, activities thru summer to name a few Thunder in the valley, Ferndale jubilee, ebensburgh fair, bedford county fair, southmont jubilee, AAABA, the wing fling. Our town does a lot and there's lots to see and explore if you know what you wanna look for.

We stayed in room 212, and had very Comfortable, clean bedding, and good daily maid service. It was nice to have a Washer and dryer on each floor during an extended stay; however, workman from the highway work crews stayed at this hotel, and needed the one washer, and one dryer on each floor (so we were never able to catch the machines for use.) I wish there were more than one washer, and one dryer on each floor. We also had trouble with the air conditioner making a loud humming noise at times, but we were too tired to get up to do anything or complain. Overall it was a great place to stay for the price.

We never found the Welcome Center, although we drove up and down, following the signs , about four times. Then someone we stopped to ask told us they had moved to a new location the day before, so ob-viously they hadn't had time to change the signs yet.
I was impressed with Johnstown. It seems to me that it is striving to be an interesting and friendly place to visit. the people who live there are friendly. The surrounding mountains are beautiful.
We had a great lunch at the Dairy Queen outside of town. The food is inexpensive and good. We loved riding the incline; great experience, and free for us because we are over 65! We lucked out by coming on Labor Day weekend because of a bunch of ethnic festivals in town. They were interesting, fun, with good food of all kinds, music and dancing.

Was there for the AAABA Baseball Tournament.
Was there for the AAABA Baseball Tournament. Visited the Flood Museums. They were very informative. The Incline was a nice ride with a great view of the city and surrounding area. Bike paths, walking and hiking trails were very nice.
Nice staff, Clean, and afforable, loved that the pool was clean, big, and open late. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, soap was dove (big plus). Breakfast was FANTASIC, I expected a contential breakfast with cold cereal and muffins. This was a sit down, waffles, eggs, toast, potatoes SOOO good. Also nice atomphere nice servers. It was great! Parking was free another awesome feature. Very happy overall with our experience.
I loved the location of this house. Very beautiful all around it. This place definitely has potential. Master bed room was amazing. The other rooms were ok. Kitchen was nice. Appreciated having a grill so we could cook out one of the nights we stayed. This would be a great place for a smaller group or for parents to take their kids. My group was adult couples and we thought everyone was getting bigger beds by the ad.
Had dinner and and breakfast in the restaurant. Both delicious. I've stayed here for years and the quality of my food has been great everytime. For anything in the this area, this downtown location is within walking distance to most events offered in Johnstown
The location was very close to the tournament we were attending at Iron Horse Complex. Restaurants and fast food was easily accessible. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. I will remember this for next year.
Everything was very nice and clean. Very large room with king bed. Very close to stores and restaurants. 15 mins from everywhere we wanted/ needed to be. Our 6 year old slept on the lounge chair/ sofa and was comfortable.
Breakfast had more variety than I expected. The coffee was always hot no matter the time and options like hot cocoa, and hot tea were available all day as well. Comfortable bed, very clean room.
