The only things to do in Key Largo are, Eating, drinking, go on Snorkeling or Scuba Diving tours. When we arrived our 1st stop was at the visitors center where the lady told us that there is not much to to do in Key Largo, no beach, no snorkling from the shoreline unless as she put it "if you want to see rocks and small fish". She was right about that.

Nice place for a romantic getaway.
Nice place for a romantic getaway. Beautiful ocean view, assorted sea life. Jet skis, kayaks, snorkeling and scuba diving if you want. Lots of delicious dining options. If you are looking for the late night dance and party scene, look elsewhere.
Bay Harbor Lodge is a true HIDDEN GEM in Key Largo!!! This quiet boutique resort is located directly on the water with it’s very own palm tree right on the beach! The entire premise is absolutely beautifully landscaped with lush trees and plants! The cute permanent “food truck” on the property serves homemade scones every morning. Our favorite flavors were the coconut pecan and pineapple scones! The owner and staff are all absolutely awesome and truly cared about our stay! We will definitely be back!!!!
The Suite was bright and exceptionally clean. Great attention to detail from the management team. The waterside is impressive - calm, romantic, and equipped with comfortable beach furniture and bbq facilities. Kayaks and bikes available for guests to use. It’s a well looked after hotel; freshly decorated which makes it stand out from other hotels we visited in the Keys. Although no catering is available on premises Management offered recommendations for the best eateries nearby.
This was bit of a random pick; the hotel was nice but had also pricey - though given the season and location not surprising. It was only a one-night stay, so the room location was not important ( i.e. we did not need a nice view); staff was very lovely all round and accommodating. Location is great since it is near John Pennenkamp National Park and - bonus: we got to see manatees which came close to the shore and pet them. Bonus: spoiled the resident kitty!
Excellent location, well maintained rooms, very clear. Welcoming staff and good breakfasts. Possibility to rent a kayak or a fishing rod, and buy fishing bait directly in the hotel, and a good fishing place just on the beach. A supermarket and some good restaurants in a few minutes away, and good driving times to the Theater of Sea and other attractions nearby. A warm and clean pool. Iguanas and ibises at the territory. USB sockets near the bed.
I LOVED everything....my 2nd time staying there within a few months, and plan to stay there when visiting Key Largo in the very near future! And big time kudos to the restaurant, we ordered a hamburger and it was the best, I know prices are going up all over the place and not getting the quantity and quality of what you're paying for, but here I certainly got what I paid for! Keep up the up the good work, don't change!!
Location location location. We were next to 2 bars with live music and good food. The better one being Sharkies. 2 pools at your service one bring from the sister property Holiday inn. Direct on the waterfront marina. Clothes Washing facilities. Staff was friendly, they gave me an excellent tip for an excursion, (Robert is here )fruit stand , please try a milkshake.
Room was spacious and clean. Hotel location was excellent -- right on the water. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The linens were high quality. Had dinner at the Gus Grille -- excellent food and service. Only stayed for one night so didn't get to utilize the beach or pool facilities. We headed out early the following morning to Key West.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a king size bed, a full kitchen, and even two toilets! The proximity to nearby bars and restaurants was a major plus, as I was able to easily explore the local area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.
Perfect location, loved the beach and pool in the back of the hotel, the stand up boards and kayaks! loved the staff - all very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were spacious (I had 2 rooms) - I have stayed at Bayside 3-4 times now, recommend it to everyone I know going to Key Largo! Will def be back!!
We have just returned from a 1000 mile round road trip that took in Orlando, Naples, Everglades and Keys and I have to say the stay at this accommodation in Key Largo was the highlight. What an amazing place! We absolutely loved it. Hosts, accommodation, facilities, location… all perfect.
Waterfront and outdoor activity. If you want to enjoy Key Largo on the water, this is for you. It was quiet and felt removed from the busy road. You can view the sunset and enjoy a drink by the water. And you can also kayak and swim right from the property . Kayaks are free to use.
The location was great. The room was nice. I like this style hotel better than huge chains. There were things available like bikes and kayaks that we didn't even get a chance to use. It wad nice to sit on the beach and watch the sunset, and they provided plenty of chairs for that.
It was a beautiful ocean side location and very nicely landscaped. Gorgeous view at sunset. A great location to stay at if you want to go on scuba or snorkel trips as it's also a dive center. It has a sporty, active feel which was perfect for us! A great place to stay in Key Largo!
Great location with a small beach, swimming pool and possibility to relax at the poolside as well as at the seashore. Boats and bicycles available. Next to the hotel you find a good restaurant at which you receive a discount as a hotel guest. Good coffee available free of charge.
Fresh baked muffins, individual frittatas, yogurt, fruit, coffee all served outdoors under a tiki hut with tables and chairs by your villa all a short walk from the shore with a great view. It's an old school Florida hotel. Refreshing break from the standard modern hotels.
The location is great!!!. It was close to all attractions we had planned in Key Largo. It's a townhome style hotel with upper and lower levels, so it is specious with 1.5 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Rooms are well maintained and clean.
Room was clean and fairly recently redecorated. Good shower and bed was comfortable. However its all very basic and not trying to be up market. I would class it more as a motel than a hotel. The bar area is very Florida Keys.
The hotel was next to Highway 1. The backside of the hotel was located to a canal. Rooms came out on a deck, so a better place to stay.

stunning beach area. the main hotel and restaurants were beautiful. loved the little touches such as complimentary champagne on the beach at sunset, s’mores for the kids
