Great location to sports fields as well as grocery stores and restaurants! Quiet location and very private with the fenced in yard. Hot tub was a plus! Owners of the apartment check in with you before, during and after your stay which is amazing. very friendly hospitality and their priority is that you have the best stay imaginable.

The staff and location was wonderful. They helped fix our room so we were on the side with the lake. We loved being able to go out to the water at night and look at the stars. Just make sure when you book your room you are on the side of the street with the lake, that way you don't have to cross the road to get to all the amenities that they offer. Oh, and breakfast is only offered on the weekends.

The hotel was very good.
The hotel was very good. It surpassed our expectations since other reviewers rated it so it received a 7.7 score. This is unfair. The rooms are clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The bathroom, however, is a bit tight. Common rooms had gracious space and the location of the hotel in the center of time is excellent. Plus we had a beautiful view from our room. We do not understand the mediocre rating given this hotel.

Laconia is a great location on Lake Winnipesaukee with easy access to Lincoln, Mt. Washington and Conway. My husband is a ham radio operator and he was able to make several POTA (Parks on the Air) activations while in Laconia. We also drove up the Mt. Hello! Laconia was beautiful as always! My niece Kaitlin and I stayed at the Birch Knoll Hotel this was our first time staying there. We had stayed in different hotels before when we came down from Maine for concerts! But now since we have discovered the Birch Knoll Hotel! Well we will definitely be going back there to stay.. everything was perfect! And the owners were so nice and helpful! The only window in the room was sealed shut.
The only window in the room was sealed shut. Had there been a fire and no escape through the hallway, no other way to get out. Also, there is rubber padding around the entrance to the hot tub. There isn’t to the entrance to the pool. The tile is extremely slippery. When I exited the pool to walk to the hot tub, I slipped and fell, hitting my head. I went to the front desk to let them know so maybe they would remedy the situation. They did ask if I would like to file an incident report and I told them no. I just wanted them to be aware so they could look further in to a possible fix before someone else gets hurt. OhLori - 8.0Scored 8.0
This is a great vacation area.
This is a great vacation area. Very pricey and is definitely not as welcoming to visitors as it should be. Have been going here for over 40 years and seems like all attractions are being closed for ne condo complexes.

The motel was perfect and Weirs Beach was nice but a lot of places closed very early or not open at all. We are just assuming that it was lack of Staffing. But the views are awesome and then we went to Meredith on the advice of the owners of the Birch Knoll Motel. Another wonderful place with great views and nice walking areas.. Anthony's on the pier is a great spot for simple food and awesome views, but they closed very early and we were unable to get there in time the second day.CherylUnited States

I liked the living room couch and armchair.
