Traveling around the area, going on swamp tour, went to Baton Rouge to the old capitol building was beautiful. Went to plantation was awesome.
Went to Holly beach was great. Went to the Tabasco plant and took tour and viewed the gardens, went to Rip Van WInkle house was very interesting. Went to the zoo in Baton Rouge was a little disappointed not all the animals were out and they are remodeling so only seen 1/3 of the grounds. Went to antique stores , recommend the Red School House that was so cool, and nice. very organized.
I would not recommend New Orleans experience was horrible, city is trash with graffti all over and not so friendly people.

Place was nice and clean.
Place was nice and clean. Don't like location of other property. Was not near what I was going to stay for. Venue was in town. I could have walked there. Original location had a leek in kitchen. My reservation was moved to the other place. Nice but not what I wanted. Kind of disappointed.

Lafayette is a hidden gem that left a lasting impression on me. The city's rich cultural heritage and vibrant atmosphere make it a truly unique place to visit. From its lively music scene to its captivating art galleries, there was no shortage of entertainment options.
The Cajun State Fair, with its lively atmosphere and entertaining attractions, offered a wonderful opportunity to immerse oneself in the local culture and experience the vibrant spirit of Lafayette.

Very relaxing & extremely friendly people everywhere you go!
Very relaxing & extremely friendly people everywhere you go! We’re from California, so the humidity really took some getting used to! Hot from morning to evening in July. Mosquitoes were not horrible, but bug spray is a must. Gorgeous terrain-green everywhere & easy to get around to all of the sights. Would definitely return.

Lafayette is great!
Lafayette is great! There are many different restaurants to go to, and many historic Catholic Churches, if that’s what you’re in to. Downtown is great, with many different eatery options that are all pretty affordable and really delicious! Getting around the city is somewhat easy, parking can be tricky though. The last time I went the main parking deck was closed off so we had to find somewhere else to park. Everything is easily walked to in downtown though.
Swapped to this place after our choice of rural cabins proved to be more rustic than we cared for. Property looks to have been updated recently. Friendly staff who greet you every time you enter the building. Good range of breakfast provisions. Laundry room. Comfortable bed. Just all the things you expect from a Hampton property delivered the way you expect them.
Nothing!!! The place was absolutely horrible. The room was not a bit like the picture online. The bedding had not been changed the sheets were soiled, took pictures. The bathroom had no toilet paper, the trash bin was overflowing as was the one in the kitchen. Just overall unacceptable, gross!!!
Nothing to complain about. Breakfast nice and warm. Clean area. Nice service if I needed anything. Like I mentioned earlier. Nothing to complain about. Treated me like family or a good friend. Thank U to all who worked here at Lafayette, Louisiana Clarion Hotel and plan to be back next year.
Excellent full, hot breakfast. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. My hotel reservation was canceled for some reason, but fortunately, the desk agent was able to book a room for me on the spot. The River Ranch area is beautiful and has many conveniences.
They were in the middle of updating the hotel, we were given one of the new updated rooms, it was very nice & the bed was very comfy, the staff was super nice ! The breakfast area was real nice too ! Very good coffee, which is a big plus for my husband & myself !
Hotel currently house long term stays, with certain rooms for motel stays. residents don’t bother you though.
Close to Caine’s and other convenience stores. lone lobby night staff very nice. we went out for breakfast.
I did not like anything about my stay in this hotel property. Had reserved for four nights. However, I moved out after the first night and had to get another hotel to complete my stay in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Spacious Hotel with great amenities ( Bar and restaurant along with outdoor seating options) Rooms were a good size, very comfy and clean. Convenient to I-10 without the noise level of the highway.
Extremely friendly staff that gave us a lot of recommendations on what to do and where to eat!
Nice breakfast room with a view on the water, good breakfast.
Small but good functional gym.
Excellent location. Nicely furnished with a spacious bedroom. Homey. we didn’t cook, but it’s a nice kitchen. Great bargain. Much nicer than a standard hotel room at a lower price.
as always the Drury Inn hotels are always amazing. Staff was friendly. The room was clean. The guest reception was good. The breakfast was great as usual.
