Hotel hot breakfast was complimentary is always nice. Hard boiled (shelled) eggs, sausage links, seasoned potatoes were good. Fresh fruit/yogurt was very nice. Juice selection was ok, adding cranberry too would add. Cereal and breads good. Resteraunt food was ok (priced alittle high) but plenty of Resteraunts near by 0.5 miles.
Rooms were good size and clean overall. Room enough for kids to move around. TV selection of channels good. Quiet overall once in room and elevators are fast.
Hotel staff self enforces rules on kids that get out of line.

Quick Trip. Expected more out of the area. I do not plan on coming back for business. Very disappointed! Hooters was disappointing. The wings were small and not good. Twin Peaks had great fish on Friday.

The first room I was placed in smelled like mold and it was a lot of moisture in the room. I attempted to try and spray the room with air freshener it did not work. Also there was not batteries in the remote. I went to the desk and asked for another the the young man that was there was pretty nice and he moved us. However this room was still not a 10. If you needed to a quick place to sleep then this is it but if you want a clean room where you are comfortable stay away!

Coming from Oklahoma, it was a great place to be. You are just a short drive from many main places. Our favorite place to eat was BD's. We were in town for golf and there is no shortage of courses in the area.

I went to Lenexa for the wedding of my niece.
I went to Lenexa for the wedding of my niece. Just picked a random Hotel for the price. It was the second lowest priced hotel in the area. Called Studio 6, I think it was a motel 6 before. But the remodel was beautiful inside the rooms. Lots of shopping in Lenexa. A lot of restaurant options. I ate at the Applebee's, because I love Applebee's. But I was only there for one day. There was lots of road construction so you have to really watch what Lane you're in to get off the right exits. But new construction leads to better roads so I had no problem with that. I will have to visit again

The city of Lenexa is beautiful with many things to do and many places to shop and stay. I love this town. But like any other town in the world there are pros and cons. The town is clean. They take pride in it. There are plenty of places to stay that are awesome, but see my review of the Extended Stay motel for a con. Lenexa has great parks and entertainment and is not far from The Legends outlet mall, the KCK Nascar Speedway, The Sporting KC major league soccer stadium and the KC Monarchs Minor League Baseball stadium. Love Lenexa. Easy to get around in. Modern area.
Love Lenexa. Easy to get around in. Modern area. Some places still in construction but nicer than OP or older suburbs. Tons of coffee shops, eateries, ice cream places. Must make reservations for places like Cheesecake Factory early in the day because of reduced seating for Covid. Highly recommend Lenexa Market across the street from hotel for first rate Mexican at Red Tamale and coffee, etc. can eat inside or out on patio. Check out The Lenexa Market.JJulieUnited States
