Baywood Inn was well located in pretty Los Isos. Upon arrival it offered everything a traveller would need including coffee and pastries free of charge. In our suite type room there were treats and cold drinks in the fridge. The room was attractive. Breakfast was served at a cafe next door and offered Mexican and American hot dishes. A welcome change from the usual continental style breakfast.

The location and surroundings are so beautiful. A paradise for nature lovers and bird fans, as it is situated right next to a bird nature reserve.
The room was beautiful and clean with a lovely fire place. The staff was super friendly and helpful, providing maps of the local area. I had some takeaway dinner from the restaurant which was delicious. The Inn is in walking distance to the harbour, shops restaurants along the beach, which was great. Would recommend for solo travelers as well. Wished I could have stayed longer.

Lovely property overlooking the bay and Moro rock. We were about to watch a beautiful sunset the evening we were there.
The rooms were very clean, cosy and fresh feeling.
Really enjoyed the stay from our welcome to the good nights sleep and a seamless check out.

Los Osos is an enchanting and serene secret. We vacation there at least twice a year. There are magical sights, i.e Elfin Park, Montana de Oro, as well as local pubs and eateries locally. This is a lesser known little town that is just delightful.
This is a lesser known little town that is just delightful. There are galleries, restaurants, a wonderful Monday farmers' market and friendly people. But the real gem is the access to state reserves and forests, beautiful beaches and bird sanctuaries. Los Osos is one of our favorite places to visit. The weather is wonderful. There are many beautiful places to visit close by, which is great because my husband is an artist and finds lots of beautiful subjects for his paintings. Quaint, lovely little town.
Quaint, lovely little town. Good location if you are not looking to be in the middle of the major tourist areas. Easy and quick access to Monana De Oro State Park with all its wonderful areas and beaches to explore.

Los Osos is such a lovely, relaxing, sleepy little town...
Los Osos is such a lovely, relaxing, sleepy little town close to Montaña de Oro. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved it. We marveled at how the tide of the bay changed constantly and the large cypress and eucalyptus trees in the neighborhood surrounding the bay. Sweet water nature preserve was a nice tranquil nearby walk. A town very close to nature. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting nearby Montaña de Oro amd Morro Bay.

The pancake option for the bed and breakfast was good but the breakfast burrito was even better! Also loved that the give you a free glass of wine at 5pm! We also hiked on some cute trails nearby! The beach view was very cool too! Also they have danishes, muffins and cookies out all day to grab and go for free! I would definitely stay again! Also very quiet and private very cute cozy place!

I enjoyed getting up and looking out at the Bay in the morning and you were within walking distance to a few restuarants. The Bakery on third st has wonderful fresh baked breads and other goodies. I had their asparagus quiche and coffee one morning, it was good. The Baywood Inn location is very central to other towns. I visited Avila Beach and Morro Bay, each were less than 45 minutes away.
