Luling's top Barbecue place called The Market was not a disappointment. We liked the Farmer's Market and Watermelon Thump.... We had a tomato and a plum from the Farmer's Market when we got home and they both were DELICIOUS!! Stopped and spent an hour talking with a 90 year old farmer who was so wise and interesting. Small town, friendly folks that make you feel welcome.

We didn't want to be in Luling, but it was the only place we could find an available motel. Had to make last-minute reservations during the Gonzales, TX "Come And Take It" festival and all the rooms in Gonzales were taken. Luling was the closest town to Gonzales that had available motel space.SannaUnited States

The traffic on the road in front was light and even soothing to this consumer. You are very close to the Luling PD. I loved the occasional train which was not too close to the motel. The room was clean and well-maintained.
