    Location was great.

Location was great. Right downtown and everything was walkable. Full hot breakfast, nice size refrigerator and microwave in room. Staff friendly and helpful. Will stay there again. Do not judge from the outside. Hotel has been totally renovated,

I'm sure it was an outstanding hotel when it was new; But grounds were dirty and so was the pool; Right on Lake michigan was nice. Manitowoc is a very beautiful and clean town; But the Baymont needs new maids or something.....outdated and dirty.

Manitowoc has a fantastic maritime museum with a WWII submarine, the Cobia, that you can tour with a guide - ours two years ago was fantastic! We wanted to visit again this trip, but didn't have time. Manitowoc is close enough to Green Bay that it is a good choice of places to stay when there for a Packers game as we were. It is easy to get around town, as it is not a big city. It is right off the interstate, so it is easy to get to as well. We ate several meals at the Four Seasons Family Restaurant, a very good choice! Reasonable prices, good food, and large portions. And, you are right on Lake Michigan - cannot beat that!

Well I wish I could say we saw a lot of the town, however, we found that most businesses and restaurants were not open at all on Labor Day weekend. I come from a tourist town and that weekend is the last big one of the season and everyone is open. It was a very frustrating experience to be disappointed at every turn by closed businesses that had not updated their hours online with their holiday hours. We had to travel to Green Bay to finally find something we wanted to do.

The hotel is within walking distance to the Sub Museum and other downtown events and stores. Manitowoc was a comfortable & clean city. It is a perfect location to connect with the SS Badger for a trip across Lake Michigan.

One thing I've enjoyed about going to Manitowac, is getting "lost". More than once we,ve been talking and not paying attention. check Your compass head for the lake you can find anywhere from the lake. While your at it enjoy the old houses, tree lined streets, we found a whole section of town we didnt know was there. Relax have fun with it. live a little.

The room was surprisingly spacious, and more comfortable than we were expecting. The hotel swimming pool was great (especially as we had it almost to ourselves!). The location is nice and quite, right on the historic bay of the quaint town of Manitowoc.

Everything was super: the location, the comfort and accommodation of the room, everything was clean, breakfast had a variety of things to choose from, and last but not least, it was SO quiet, considering the hotel looked like it was filled to capacity.

I picked the least expensive hotel and was surprised at the quality of the facility. The staff were helpful and polite. The location by friends and family and stores was excellent. The amenity of breakfast was an added benefit.

They’re going through renovations. But even though parts of the hotel were still a bit dingy the room I had and the breakfast dining area were freshly remodeled.
