The hotel was very clean and the room was a decent size. It was nice to have enough room to not feel cramped. The breakfast was also better than other hotels we stayed in.

We only had planned on staying for one night on our way to visit our son and family in MN. However we ran into a nasty blizzard!!! The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating, guiding us to nearby places to eat, and allowing us to extend our stay another night due to the blizzard and highways being shut down.

Found some great restaurants.
Found some great restaurants. Prime and wine on Thursdays for the date night dinner is amazing. Definetely will do again. Pasta Bella was good. Portion size is huge. Could share a dish and get dessert and be totally fine. $5.00 Tuesday for the movie theater. Great reclining seats.

Mason City is My hometown I live in California now so it’s nice to go home and see family. The museum and art work is beautiful and Lime creak is a jewel in its self. The people are very friendly and it appears the city is taking many positive steps to make a great city even better.
For a 2-star hotel type, it was amazing for the cost. Good size room even though two queens—still had a desk with chair, extra chair, plenty of room for all of our luggage, great water pressure and temps in bathroom plus plenty of towels, very comfortable beds, and so cozy for such cold temps outside. Appreciated the hot and cold breakfast choices and the wide time available 6-10 am. We were on the 3rd floor, which we requested because there is an elevator! And staff were friendly and always responsive.
We have stayed here when in the area for family events and have always found the rooms to be clean, the breakfast bar to be fantastic ( choices available and quality), and the staff to be very friendly. I do have one suggestion for an additional bench out front that is a nonsmoking area. Mornings with a cup of coffee in fresh air are relaxing.
We didn't eat breakfast there, but it did look good. The room was very comfortable and the bed was great! Having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was great. Most of our time was spent with family that lived in the area or nearby. We would definately stay at this location again!
Only one waffle maker for entire hotel when booking the room they are not completely clear about the breakfast the boiled eggs were some what frozen they offer yogurt cereal no fruit with most places lifting Covid restrictions I think they are taking advantage of it
The location was great for the activities we did while there. They are in the process of updating the hotel which was a mixed bag. Lobby nice. Our room was half done. New window in but still had shims in, no trim. Bed was comfortable
Good value hotel on the edge of town. Easy access from the interstate. Nice big room. Lobby breakfast had a reasonable choice of food in a help-yourself, cook-yourself format.
The hotel was very clean and the room was a decent size. It was nice to have enough room to not feel cramped. The breakfast was also better than other hotels we stayed in.
