Residence Inn by Marriott Vail, hotel in Minturn

Located in Vail, 45 km from Frisco Historic Park, Residence Inn by Marriott Vail provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a bar.

The Residence Inn was a great choice for us in Vail. The hotel has all the amenities you need for your ski trip. Their shuttle service to Vail Village is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes until 10pm. Parking is great! Without knowing too much about other hotels in Vail, I think it is an excellent option in terms of price/benefit without ever feeling like a low-cost hotel (which it is not). 100% recommended.

This European inspired lodge in downtown Vail is one block from Bridge Street, offering shopping and dining options. The lodge features an outdoor pool and rooms with free WiFi.

Breakfast wasn’t available for 2-3 of the days (a local bistro provides the service) - however, the bistro itself was only 2 mins away so we actually went out there for breakfast most of the time

delightful old mining town in narrow valley, centrally located just off I-70 (2 miles), but close enough to Vaill if those facilities required. 'Minturn Sunrise' is good for breakfast. A very good Mexican restaurant in the old rail-station area. An excellent Thai restaurant is located on the main street.

It's a quiet town in mud season but the best time to experience the Rocky Mountains like a local. Amazing limitless hiking opportunities are literally right out your door. Minturn Anglers is one of the coolest fly shops in Colorado and I've been to most of them. The Eagle flows right through town with unlimited access. Rocky Mountain Taco is the best tacos in the valley. They do not cut corners on ingredients and have a very cool setup with a huge outdoor patio. As far as food, there are plenty of options if you are staying there short term and everyone is friendly, even to red-eyed weary travelers.

This is a really cute town and we would've liked to stay longer to enjoy local hikes and go for a bike ride. Minturn Saloon has great food and service, and the outdoor dining area is a great location -- along the water with views of the mountain! Parking was easy in the summertime -- we parked right in front of the Minturn Inn and didn't need to move at all during our stay unless we wanted to.

Very well-located little mountain town just outside of Vail, with easy access to hiking and other activities. Rocky Mountain Tacos has delicious tacos and burritos, and they give you a TON of chips with your chip order. Cute little shops (Uptown Store has a lot of great gifts, souvenirs). There's a little creek that runs in back of the town and it's very picturesque. Just a short drive to Vail and other places to sight-see. Love this place!
