We booked a regular room and got to stay in the suite directly above the lobby. Very close to the highway but any additional noise was well compensated by the comfort of the large room and beds. The hotel is very clean and tidy!
Shuttle service and other buses to Port Authority stop right in front of the lobby.
Ample shops and food within walking distance.
Breakfast in this hotel is very basic, but we knew that when booking.
Excellent value for money.
Will definitely use this hotel again!

The hotel had amazing accommodation. The room was very clean and check in process was smooth. The location is very convenient if you plan on staying outside of Manhattan as the bus stop was only a couple of minutes away. The bus would run hourly and stopped in Times Square. The commute is not bad at all but it does require some time to get to and from Manhattan. They offered a nice breakfast but there is not much variety. The menu would repeat every other day but it was tasty nonetheless.
Located just off the New Jersey Turnpike, this North Bergen hotel offers Free Wi-Fi. Cable TV, a radio and ironing facilities are found in the traditional rooms of Meadowlands View Hotel.

Room is very large and includes equipment like kettle. Public transport to New York City available. (The hotel also offers shuttle to Times Square but it departures very late in the morning so I did not use it.)

We were offered the Hotel as a substitute to a facility in Manhattan. We have not seen much from North Bergen. Originally, we expected we would be much closer to New York where we planned our program.
BUT it is quite convenient that there is a large supermarket (Target) and several fast-food restaurant within walking distance.

North Bergen is a safe neighborhood, it was quiet at night.
North Bergen is a safe neighborhood, it was quiet at night. Living in NJ is the best way to visit New York while having a car. Parkings are tough and expensive in NYC downtown. While you can live here paying less and maybe having a free parking for your car. you'll have shuttles coming and going throughout the day which can take you to Times Square for around (3-7$). but if you're visiting just for NY and you want to enjoy every moment of your day, I'll recommend not renting a car and living in the downtown area while everything is within walking distance from you.

We stayed for roughly a week's stay here.
We stayed for roughly a week's stay here. It's a small town, but it has the basics: food stores, dollar stores, and several other businesses. I felt safe walking around in day, and night. We mainly went to New York using public transportation, but North Bergen was a quiet, quaint, small town.

we found multiple roaches in the room, to which we basically got a shrug when we went to the lobby to tell them. above the night stand was missing a light, and there was this faint clicking noise that was constant throughout the entire stay. in addition all of the vending machines were broken and there was only one small cooler full of lukewarm water. elevators smelled weird.

Many guests we spoke to were going on a cruse so used the hotel as a car park and overnight stay not a place for a vacation stay in our opinion, there is nothing to do in walking distance of hotel so would need a car to get around. The place looked too industrial and very run down in the surrounding area, not a place for a family holiday with kids! You will need to be very fit if walking anywhere from hotel as it is on top of a very steep hill. There are no proper resturants nearby to our hotel, there is a bus stop opposite to get to New York. Wont be staying there again because of location but the staff were fantastic at fairfield hotel and suites by Marriott.

If you want to go to NYC from North Bergen the best option...
If you want to go to NYC from North Bergen the best option is taking public transit, about $3.50-5.10 one way. Due to the bridge tolls an Uber will cost about $35-60 one way. Getting TO New York via bus was very easy HOWEVER, taking the bus from the Port Authority Bus Station was extremely confusing. You have to select a bus (even though you usually have multiple buses that can take you to the same stop) and you also have to pick zones but they can change depending on the bus and not the location of your bus stop.
Booked a stay here while attending New York Comic Con 2023 and the stay was quite pleasant. The hotel has secured off street parking which is very nice and the area was nice and quite and there was a lot of food places to eat around in the area not in walking distance but any food delivery service (grubhub. doordash, etc) can help mitigate that issue. There was also a shuttle that offered round trip rides to and from the hotel to the convention which was great.
Water from our Bathroom, on the third Floor (3-313) was zipping down through the Floor into the Light Fixture on the Appartment of the Seconf Floor (2-313). If anyone would have turned on the light on the second floor bathroom (2-313) whomever of myself or my Grandson qould have ended up electrocuted!!!! This is a mayor issue. We were extremely concern. We will never stay at another "Choice Hotel after this fiasco!!!
Close to NY and had shuttle you wave down in front of hotel. Gets you close to Time Square at the Port Authority. 3.50 pp per way.
Walking distance to restaurants.
Staff was friendly.
Very quite, we had a room near the back on geound floor across from the rock face and didnt hear any traffic noise.
room/breakfast/ clean/friendly and especially closed garage and definitely the staff..... That hotel was one of the rare hotels we enjoyed staying during our trip (stayed at 9 hotels/motels/residents in total).I shall write for each of them an objective summary to your review guideline
The room was very clean. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept so well. The
a/c was cold and comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and followed COVID-19 protocols. Parking was sucured and safe.
Nothing at all. It’s not a hotel. There’s no “Ramada by Wyndham” signboard or name plate outside as well as inside this property. It’s very old building under construction. It’s like a horse stable.
The rooms were clean. The hotel was adequate, but it does need some TLC. The sofa in the room was all ripped up and the shower had rust spots near the shower head. The beds were comfortable.
The hotel was newly built and pretty quiet.
Staff was unprofessional and did not know how to deal with the guest. Except they had one CSR name, Asma, who was exceptionally polite and helpful.
Hotel room was spacious, equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, free parking. Clean towels and cleaning of the room every day, free tea and coffee at the lobby all day long.
This “hotel” has a bad smell all
Over the place, infested with bugs! Please don’t go there specially with small babies ! This is the worst experience for me! I’d like a refund!
Nice & clean. Good location. Rooms were comfortable & looked really nice. And very clean! Me & my boyfriend gets hotels in the NJ/NY area a lot. Definitely will be coming back.
Not a bad hotel for a stop over. Not far from Newark airport and on the way to NYC. No complaints, clean and tidy, breakfast was the same as all similarly priced US hotels.
The bus shuttle to and from NYC (Port Authority Bus Station) stops directly in front of the hotel which is very convenient, and the drivers were very friendly.
