I was not happy that the person who checked me in forgot to tell me that you must swipe your room key in the elevator to go to your floor. As a result I was stuck in the elevator and freaked out until the door finally opened and I realized I had to swipe the key. This is very important to tell hotel guests Prior to them using the elevator.

The Grab & Go breakfast boxes were great for us to collect each morning. The staff at reception were really lovely and we were thankful that they let us stay by the pool area on the day of checkout for a couple of hours while we waited for our Uber to the airport.

While many hotel chains have gone to cold grey decor, this Hampton had an old Hollywood theme and warm, inviting colors and textures. Plus the staff went above and beyond to be helpful, particularly Sam at the front desk. My husband was recovering from back surgery and Sam insisted on helping him get into the car and loaded our luggage into the back.

I paid but didn't stay one night because... it was not true in booking.com to give the room has air conditioning
I have been a customer for more than 20 years and I think that Booking.com should compensate my losses for incorrect information.

When we arrived at the hotel at 9:30 pm after 4 hours...
When we arrived at the hotel at 9:30 pm after 4 hours driving, the front lady told us there is no available room for us. That was shocking. I have never had such an experience before. I asked what do you mean you have no room for us, I bought it couple days ago, it was confirmed? What is “reserved”, “confirmed” means?
She said they do overbook and that happens. She said this is normal. Hell no. This is not normal. I don’t care if you overbook but if you reserved my room I want my room ready when I arrive the hotel. She was very rude and arrogant. I had to go to the bathroom. I was told there is no restroom available for customers. I must be a joke. No, it was not a joke. A security person told me there is a bathroom for staff but no customers. He was smiling “it is funny huh?” No, it is not funny. After a ling drive my family including my 8 years old son had to go to the restroom. It was not “available”. Stay away from this hotel. I have been traveling for 30 years. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never seen such rude front desk and unprofessional hotel staff like them. This was a horrible horrible experience. We had to find another hotel after 10:00pm. It was nightmare.
The property looks older on the inside than outside, interior isn't clean: elevator full of griffities and fcorridor on the 3rd floor full of stains. Had only one towel of each size which was very inconvenient. You can hear the neighbors talking. The bed was some what squikie. TOO expensive to be $208 after taxes per night. This is a price of higher end hotels.
I was given the bare minimum at this hotel for 500$ for two nights, took 30 minutes to check in cause no one was at the counter. There was burn marks everywhere, there was no toilet paper at first, the stove didn’t work either!
Plenty of room for a multigeneraional family. Great outside space and pool. Loved being able to have a full kitchen and several eating areas. 3 Bathrooms-one outside for use with pool or socializing
Great master area
Big living area was a treat after the hotel. Big kitchen. For kids pool is a necessity. AC worked very well (this is The Valley in summer). Grandkids rated this the best AirBnB of the 10 day trip to SoCal.
Great location, place is clean and cozy, easy to communicate with host...best part was the pool..everybody felt at home and enjoyed their stay..will definitely be booking this place again...
