The room was really clean! The bed was super comfortable! Did not care for the way bathroom was set up, but do-able and it was very clean. When we arrived at front desk, the clerk was not that friendly. I had a special circumstance concerning the booking of the room, and she did not give me a chance to explain, before she said firmly, No we do not do that! I then asked her to please look and see if my room was booked for an extra night (which when I called before we came, whoever I talked to said she would note my reservation). When she looked, she said "oh" ok. I just did not like her tone when we arrived. Everything else was super, including the breakfast.sherrillUnited States - 2.0Scored 2.0

The hotel is not a real Hilton hotel. I had to change rooms (2) twice . The rooms smelled like a frat dorm (stunk) and some lights did not work in the other room. Exchanged rooms still smelled like the carpets had not been cleaned on a while. They charged my daughter $200 saying we trashed the rooms. We were the only black visitors and I didn’t appreciate how the catagorized my black family. We did not trash the room! The manager Ray was very nasty and condescending when I called about them keeping our deposit for wallpaper that was already peeling and one quarter sized spill on their already dirt carpet. Do it stay in this hotel if you are a black family…or any family for that matter. This was my granddaughter’s sixteenth birthday and is was totally ruined by the room and the unprofessional behavior of the staff. I saw more than one family coming down to the front desk to complain about their room.LindaUnited States - 10Scored 10

I really enjoyed Novi.
I really enjoyed Novi. It was a nice place to visit and I will be visiting again. I will never stay at the Double Tree/ Hilton in Novi though as it did not off much, the rooms were old, dim, dusty, and did not have food or room service.LaTashaUnited States - 2.0Scored 2.0

Biggest dive of a hotel I've ever seen if it's a four points by Marriott I can't believe it is it needs to be reevaluated in the sign needs to come down that owner is a foreigner and he is a money grubber Steeler thief wants to charge me $2.43 to upgrade my room I'll see you later I'm out kiss my butt goodbye I wouldn't stay there if it was the last hotel and Baghdad

Although Novi doesn't have a typical downtown with a Main Street, it does offer easy access to several expressways, a lot of nearby shopping, restaurants and charming Midwest towns to explore, like Farmington, Plymouth and Northville. In Northville, Mayberry Park has gently rolling trails and a working farm to explore and Guernsey's, a multi-generational, family owned dairy & diner offering their own tasty ice cream, including flavors like "Crem de Novi". You're also about a 30 min drive to Kent Lake and Island Lake State Parks, if you want to take a dip or commune with nature for a while.
