I could imagine spending more time enjoying the things they had to offer here. I think they did a good job on the updates and could spend time in the room and pool and grounds.

Ogunquit is either a tourist trap cleverly disguised as a town or vice versa. I grew up near there and still haven't figured it out after 60 years. The Marginal Way is a very scenic walk. We often drive up from Central Massachusetts with the sole purpose of strolling it and sitting on the rocks. Seldom stay the night. Hannaford's up the road in Wells is a good place to shop for food if you prefer to not blow all your dough in restaurants. Still over-priced for a grocery store, though, but has decent selections. In the summer, the traffic is ridiculous in the center of town. There is a 6-way intersection where there should be either a traffic circle, a police officer, traffic lights - or even all three. It backs up for a mile or more in either direction and parking can be limited, so be aware if you are a new visitor.

This town is my most favorite place to go.
This town is my most favorite place to go. It is best just off season to avoid the crowds. Beautiful beach and Perkins Cove is quaint. Lots of quality restaurants. Shopping outlets are just a few miles down the road. The local play house also has quality performances.

Great location. Close to (walking distance) beach and town.
Great location. Close to (walking distance) beach and town. Rooms outdated but very clean. Staff from the front desk to those who clean very friendly and quick to respond to your requests. Indoor pool a plus on rainy days. Would recommend.
The location is perfect and can't be beaten. The trolly stop is right in front of the motel and it will take you everywhere in Ogunquit. Beaches restaurants and Perkins Cove. The shortcut to the beach is in front as well. You can park and never move your car. A very short downhill walk to the beach from Main Street. As close as you can get without staying on the beach that may only have 4 hotels on it and if you stay on the beach you will be walking up to Main Street and Shore Dr most of the time.
My boyfirend and I loved the location, across the street from Marginal Way, a quick walk to Ogunquit Beach, and right next to all the shops and restaurants. The 2 front desk agents were very friendly during check in and check out. We enjoyed the mini kitchenette, we were able to have coffee in the morning and use some silverware on leftovers. Also the shampoo, contditioner, and lotion were nice quality in the room. Bed was also comfortable.
Charles and David were simply great hosts! The room was clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious. There are also awesome restaurants in the area (The Maine Catch!).
Good spot to explore southern Maine. Ogunquit itself is small town which many shops and restaurants which can be reached by foot.
We visitied at the end of season, hence it was less crowded then normal.
The location is amazing. We go to Ogunquit all the time during the summer, and have never been able to get a room at the Marginal Way House in peak season. We decided to take a shoulder season trip over, and were so excited to be able to book there. We were up in the morning and walking the Marginal Way to Perkin's Cove and back. Such a wonderful walk, no matter the weather.
It was a really nice place. We will be staying again. Right in the middle of Ogunquit and Wells. Full size refrigerator. LOVED being able to sit on the porch and enjoy our coffee and the sunrise. Check in was a breeze. Very courteous and helpful with places to eat and places to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
the property is right on the ocean which is why I picked it. it is more pricey that I usually pay but it is our only trip this year and worth it. We also had a delightful encounter with a fellow named Eric and he made our stay with his friendly banter and his help.
My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The outside area was attractive and our group enjoyed sitting around the pool chatting and relaxing. The hotel location was nice too - not too far from downtown Ogunquit and the Ogunquit Playhouse.
Very nicely updated, clean and friendly staff. This location appears to be owned by the same company that owns a Holiday Inn Express. I noticed on an employee’s shirt three business names, including Ogunquit Tides and Holiday Inn Express.
Very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and kind. It´s a quiet place with good rooms.
They have a nice place for BBQ and chat with friends. Breakfast is very good with a variety of alternatives.
The location was great. Easy walk to the beach and a short drive to Downton Ogunquit. Kennebunkport was also an easy drive to get to. The hotel is great and we will be back.
Pool and hot tub were very nice, especially on a rainy day. The hotel staff was phenomenal.beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The beach is close by.
Perfect location! Located right on the ocean and a short walk to the beach. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Close to town and lots of restaurants and shopping.
The staff were friendly & helpful with our requests. The pool, hot tub & Roman Spa were very clean. Great location to Ogunquit center, we even walked there.
