The atmosphere and staff were absolutely great-- friendly, helpful, fun to talk to, but not intrusive. It feels personal, not stuffy, but guest privacy is respected.

Happy hour snacks were nice. Breakfast seemed like a good spread but didn’t have any.

Ojai is very much worth visiting if you want to escape the rush of big cities and franchise businesses such as Starbucks, fast food outlets, and rude city drivers. The bike/walking path through the village allows one to experience nature in many forms. It is maintained wonderfully and surprising free of trash and litter. Don't miss the abundance of charming restaurants with unique menus. Enjoy hiking or, if you are a bit hardier, biking the Shelf Road trail with its great views of the Ojai Valley.

Ojai is a great weekend getaway from Los Angeles for some peace and quiet, decent restaurants, and local wine tasting. It was not congested, people are friendly, slow pace and relaxing. Ojai is small so pretty much can walk anywhere.

The mountains surrounding the city are beautiful.
The mountains surrounding the city are beautiful. The city itself really has nothing to offer except a lake. The downtown is very small unless you’re hiking or fishing. There isn’t much to do. The mountains around it are beautiful, but the town itself doesn’t offer much.

Ojai is a charming village with shops, restaurants and boutiques. There are many health centers too. The Libby Bowl is an excellent, small concert venue and the Ojai Valley Resort and Spa has excellent golf opportunities and Bluegrass Sunday brunch. Visit Sam’s Place for friendly atmosphere and a cocktail!

We enjoyed our visit to Ojai.
We enjoyed our visit to Ojai. The hiking was very good, with well marked signage. The weekend traffic was heavy, but not once you got out of town. The downtown area was fun with lots of little quaint shops and galleries. The farmers market was amazing. Our favorite restaurant was the Seafood Restaurant. Libby park was pretty with good tennis facilities. The bike ride from Ojai to Ventura is a must. Beautiful ride that provides good exercise and not too steep in either direction. A fun get away location.

The room was a good size.
The room was a good size. I never saw a human been working in the hotel. No basic services for the price.
No making the bed
Just one roll of toilet paper for a two room
One box of Kleenex for the whole place
No extra water, not even to buy
Overall very disappointed; Mi family stay at Capri, a lot less money and a lot more services.
I am never coming back!
We had an excellent stay. The hotel is really lovely and very well located. The room was very clean and spacious for two people. We were in room 6 which was towards to back of the property -this was helpful with road noise reduction as the property is right off of the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is super cute with a grassy area and hammocks to lounge and spread out a bit. We enjoyed the coffee and little cookies in the lobby each morning as well.
the capri is by far one of the best hotels i've stayed at. all the small touches and gestures were noticed from the domus books in the lounge to the complimentary teas with accompanying oat milk and almond milk. they really considered the minutiae of details from the exceptionally warm welcome, lovely reception area with the fireplace, amenities, styling, the bath next to the king bed, heated pool + hot tub and complimentary bikes, we'll definitely be back.
This was such a cute experience for our mini-honeymoon. Can’t believe these Airstreams are hiding so close to the center of Ojai! The Airstream had easy instructions readily available that made it really seamless to know how to use everything. We would definitely stay here again!
Also, special shout out to Emma for being such a great “camp host”!
A relaxing oasis of calm, perfect for a reset if you've been feeling over stimulated!
Lovely staff, comfortable bedroom, beautiful setting, with mountain views and green grounds.
Good buffet breakfast, hot food at weekends.
Excellent reading room, with a huge collection of spiritual books.
10 mins drive into downtown Ojai.
the suite was just as described with a comfortable sitting room with fireplace, an well-equipped kitchenette and a bedroom with a very comfortable king bed. also the bathroom had separate shower and tub.
one of the best spaces was the beautiful courtyard where we were able to sit and enjoy being outside.
This was the second time we've stayed at the Blue Iguana Inn. The grounds at the Inn are very nice and the various types of lodging are spaced out well over a large property in the charming town of Ojai. Great for a stop when driving from the SF Bay Area to SoCal! Easy check-in and parking.
We loved everything about this place. The hosts are amazing and extremely nice, the location is perfectly set between Meiners Oak and Ojai, a coffee shop within walking distance, great design, so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely hotel, newly renovated. The room was very cool - mid century with a twist. Loved the layout and the little patio attached was great. I loved how quiet and serene it was at night, very comfy beds too. I would stay here again for sure.
The room was very cozy and welcoming, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the grounds were gorgeous. Felt like an oasis in the middle of Ojai. The staff were helpful, welcoming and friendly. I would love to stay again.
The Emerald Iguana was absolutely perfect for my friends' trip to Ojai. The accommodations were super spacious, clean, and cozy, and in an excellent location. I highly recommend it, and would stay here again!
Amazing little inn that is really affordable unlike the resort type hotels in the area! The pool and hot tub was amazing, my friends and I had a great time there escaping the heat. We will be back!
It’s a good location and close to town. It has that Ojai feeling/vibe. Nice that you can use their bikes and the trail is directly behind the property.
