Everything was wonderful except for the front desk lady she seemed very much in a hurry to get back to whatever she was doing and was bothered by the questions I was asking. Also you could hear kids running up and down the hallway till midnight and then again at 5 AM in the morning.

Hotel was great. My complaint is that the hotel phone # is not available on line. I end up booking With a 2nd party and It doesn't go well. I booked this room on the IHG app using accumulated points. At check in, I discover that the booking was thru booking com, and the points can not be used. Tell me how I can find your local # on line. I had no problems with these accommodations.
I had no problems with these accommodations. They served my needs. I just wish the bed was adjustable. I have acid reflux. Just mentioning as a after thought. I know some people need to have a inverted bed ever so slightly for proper circulation and comfort.

The room was more expensive than I usually pay when I stay in Onalaska . Other hotels were full so I did not have a choice. Will not be the first place I stay in the future. Breakfast was disappointing in choices and the lady serving food was coughing pretty severely, so in this day of covid did not feel comfortable eating any of the food. Was disappointed in the fact that pancakes were served instead of the waffles usually served in hotels.

It was a neat town that we would have liked to have had more time to explore. The worst part of our trip was our stay at the Baymont hotel. When we walked in the room, the smell hit me in the face and I never could go nose blind to get over the smell. We should have walked out and stayed in our van that night. Unique hotel decor that models a north woods, cabin feel to it (very relaxing). Excellent location with La Crosse River Conservancy Area directly behind it (to the South), within minutes of I-90. (But never was cognizant of any highway noise.) Retail shopping and an eclectic array of dining options are available within minutes of this lodging.
