Strategically located only a 10 minutes’ drive from The Toledo Zoo, The Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel features on site dining and a large fitness centre.

The room was good the only thing I had a problem with was I traveled over a hour and half to stay there to get away only reason we left home and I was up all night because someone pulled the fire alarm I was told they could not do anything beside give me a free breakfast which I wasn’t hungry cause I was up all night long I was tired and cranky mad angry

    The food was good however very limited menu and the restaurant was closed most of the time we were there. We had to eat in the bar. Bar had loud obnoxious music and because of understaffing we were ignored on Wednesday.

    We enjoyed going to various eateries near the hotel.

    We enjoyed going to various eateries near the hotel. We tried Ralphies, they had great wings, We visited the Pat Catan store it had some great sales, as it changes over to Michael's. We enjoy the local birding and the new Toledo Metro Park at Howard's Marsh. We like Blackberry Corners for their great yellow perch.

    had modest expectations, and therefore we were not surprised. a lot of money was spent on cosmetics (new paint and carpeting and furniture and appliances), however, this is an older structure, and that shows through. drywall directly above AC unit was deteriorated by moisture and black mold. Elevator hallway is challenging to navigate. it lacks the feeling of a newer hotel, despite all the cosmetics. tub was not replaced, and floor was slippery, and uneven. spout for tub poured on edge of tub.

    The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were great. The breakfast was served buffet style, eggs and sausage. The temperature of the food was just ok. The coffee was great. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a lovely hotel.

    Location, facilities inside the hotel..they have indoor racquetball and volleyball courts along with the regular pools and gym..there are trails all around the place. The shower was quite nice..it seemed to be updated

    Our crazy dogs some how managed to escape our room. There was a girl at the front desk who was nice enough to hold our dogs till we got back to the hotel. Extremely understanding. Thank you so much!
