Villa Rosa was easy to find.
Villa Rosa was easy to find. Getting around Painesville is a little tricky, but we just followed our phone map. It was a lovely place to visit for my husband and myself, plenty of room for an overnight stay. Wish we could have stayed a few days longer and seen the sights. The room was very comfortable with plenty of lights and space as we needed very little. Hope to stay there again. The hosts were great, made sure we knew our way to get to different restaurants so we could have dinner.

Painesville is a nice little town with great fishing spots, a harbor and marina and great restaurants. I love eating breakfast at Perkins Restaurant before heading over for a day at the beach at Fairport Harbor.ml - 8.0Scored 8.0

Grew up in this area, it has grown and changed tremendously. Just east of Painesville is Geneva a quick drive to a wonderful winery destination. You can buy the local wines in Painesville stores. Check out the history an early US President that was killed very early in his presidency is from Mentor one town West, his original home is there with a newer park now.ChrisLillyUnited States

The place was incredibly clean, not sure how they keep it that clean, and beautiful!! You could spend an entire day just wandering through the mansion and seeing all the history it holds. The staff was amazing in every way and made our anniversary trip enjoyable. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and for such a small town, there is tons to do. I've already told my friends to try it and will continue to share this place with others. More people need to visit such a beautiful historic place. We were lucky to meet Carol, the owner- an amazing, talented and hospitable lady. I admire her and her husband for turning the old destroyed building into beautiful,unique, special and cozy place! If you are looking for not an ordinary hotel stay , go to this place! It will exceed your expectations!
