The room suites with the bedroom separately from the living space was exceptional! I loved this separation of the two; you can get ready in your room and still have privacy from the living room. Bonus was every room had a full fridge and freezer, hotplate stove, dish washer.. I will ONLY book moving forward with Homewood Suites! The best hotel I've ever stayed in!

Front desk woman was doing laundry. (About 9:30pm).

Front desk woman was doing laundry. (About 9:30pm). I didn't know she was working both jobs at this time. A note at the desk said helping customer, be right back, so I waited. She saw me but continued laundry tasks for many minutes before a customer came by and asked her for change, she left laundry, crossed the hall to the front desk, got him change, I asked if front desk person would be back. I need to check in. She td me it was her, then checked me in. She saw me at least 7 minutes before but never came to check me in!!! This is totally unacceptable!

The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there.

The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there. People were hanging out in the back parking lot and sitting on the floor in the hallway near the room we stayed in. The outside door did not always shut tight and was unlocked during the day. Kids pulled the fire alarm. We were to stay 3 nites. We left after the first day. It was not what I expected from what Bookings showed. I won’t go through any company again

We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums...

We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums as possible in 4 days. Staying in Peabody allowed us extremely quick access into Salem, the hotel price was much cheaper than any other accommodation in Salem itself. The hotel was in a good location directly off the highway allowing quick access to multiple routes to take. The parking lot was fairly large, it wrapped around the entire hotel allowing at least anywhere between 60-100 parking spots. The pool was in a good location, however it was limited to 10 people and you were limited to 1 hour of swim time. Our room came supplied with enough storage for our clothing and luggage bags. Our shower was handicapped accessible, however we noticed a lot of the water would drain out onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom was ready for use as soon as we got there. Equipped with towels, a hair dryer, travel size lotion, shampoo, & soap. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered any questions we had, took care of our room while we were away, and didn’t bother us at all during our stay. Definitely wish we had more time to spend in Massachusetts.

We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem...

We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem. We did find very good food in Peabody though. Lots and lots of stores, very populated and you can find anything you need close by. Driving here was a nightmare for us; we are not used to there being no lines on the roads in some parts, no signs for merging lanes and every road being as big/fast as a highway. Very scenic roads though so as the passenger, it was nice haha.

my husband and I were trying to stay for just a small weekend. unfortunately a major snow storm blew through the area, extending our stay. the staff was more than accommodating, with breakfast and did whatever possible to make sure I got a good deal for it. bonus points, I have an ev vehicle and was able to charge until I left the hotel. we were without essentials for the snowstorm and they were able to give us toothbrushes/toothpaste for our stay, as well as a Walmart 20 min up the highway for anything else.

We ended up with a handicap room because my husband had hurt his knee prior to our vacation. Sammy who checked us in was very accommodating. The room was close to the entrance and the pool. We were traveling with my sons 17 and 13. We haven’t stayed I a hotel with them in almost 4 years so we needed a roll in bed because the pullout was too small. Sammy was right on it and brought us extra pillows and blankets. He was so helpful!!

Property was clean, but showing wear and tear on furniture and finishings, tub, etc. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet, no noise from other guests, which is a strict hotel policy :), and no noise from the heating/cooling system, which worked very well. All appliances and tv worked well. Lobby was nice.

Our carpet had burn holes in it, toilet seat was burnt ( idk how ) ... the bathroom door was dirty and it was just awful ... we complained and currently waiting on a refund as we checked out early due to the cleanliness and condition

Spotlessly clean, convenient and very friendly. A older staff member went out of his way early on the morning of our departure to help us. Other hotels should follow suit, the swimming pool was crystal clear, and OPEN FROM 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.
