This place is a perfect oceanview oasis! The view was truly breathtaking, I was able to spot the whale's migrations in the evening. The room was spotless and impeccable, the bathroom was so spacious. The bed was so big and comfortable that I had one of my best sleeps ever. The location was ideal for beach access and exploring the area. At night time I saw the Milky Way just from Alina's deck! Thanks Alina for such an unforgettable experience! I can't wait to return here again!

A trip north along the coast road to Fort Bragg, stopping often and including a stop at Point Arena lighthouse with climb to the top well worth it. Pizzas on the wharf, about 5 minutes away well worth the easy drive. Co-op across the road does excellent coffee - proper espresso coffee!!

Not really a town to stay more than one night unless you are visiting friends in the area. The lighthouse is about the only thing to see that is of interest. A little town that tries to hard to be something it is not.

Loved the Wild Flower Motel, the breakfast was brought to our room and it was delicious. We had fun exploring and seeing Bowling Ball Beach. Great places to eat and just walk around. The weather was wonderful. Next time we will definitely go to the beach at sunset.

Not much there except a general store and a couple art galleries. We were blown away by the most amazing pastries from Franny's Cup & Saucer. Bowling Ball beach has really interesting rock formations (go at low tide). The powerful waves around the lighthouse at new moon are really impressive. It can take a while to get there, but make the scenic drive up Highway 1 an enjoyable part of your trip.
everything!! I need this hotel near me so I can visit whenever I feel like it. It is extremely clean, spacious, smells nice and in cute adorable town. The owners are super nice. I am on the road for a month and this hotel is no.1!!!
Please, please, please go to the restaurant GAMA which is right beside the hotel. We traveled six states in 25days and this restaurant was my favorite!!! 😍 Food is great and the service is great too!! They are very hospitable. I was so sick of snobby servers 😒 😑. Genuine kindness is always appreciated.
+ The cleanest place where I‘ve stayed in almost a month roadtrip. (Seriously! It‘s the only hotel we stayed where the floor was cleaned perfectly. And after checkout I saw the cleaning ladys even clean every window inside AND OUTSIDE, lamps, etc which is no matter of course!!)
+ very chique as the colours match and it‘s really nice lavender, bloomy.
+ checkin was flexible as we arrived later than 21:00 and it was super easy with the arrangements.
+ breakfast was super healthy, and obviously prepared with love.
This is a lovely hotel! Every room is named after a wildflower and has matching decor in the rooms~it’s very understated, classy and delightful. The staff were nice and welcoming. There is also a lovely little grocery store just across the street called Arena Market & Cafe that has fabulous soup and coffee. We were exhausted the night we stayed here, so we walked over to the grocery and got some soup for dinner and it was delightful (the cafe closes early so don’t plan on getting hot sandwiches for dinner).
The view from our windows were amazing. On the door window, we had the view of the lighthouse and the other window, the coast and the ocean. The room was clean and cozy with all the amenities we could ask for. It was perfect for me and my two young girls. We loved walking around the vast property.
The electric fireplace kept the room warm and toasty. The bed was comfortable and there was another cozy blanket available just case. Refrigerator, microwave, wine and glasses, wifi, and even first aide kit!
We felt super comfortable at the Wharfs Inn in Point Arena with Karen and Cliff. It is a great, clean, friendly and quiet hotel with a great view from the balcony over the Pacific. Our room was very well appointed and the breakfast menu is great. The service staff are all helpful and nice. We did not eat dinner, we had already done that before check in. We have but on the terrace very good wine served including campfire. Thank you for the wonderful stay with you. We can only recommend the accommodation!
Very chic organic facility. Super value! Beautifully landscaped with color coordinated shrubbery to match the hotel exterior.
We've never had a motel staff/owner so friendly and he took our breakfast order at check-in and delivered it to our room at the next morning at the requested time. Fabulous organic sheets, mattress and fluffy cotton towels. a Mini-vacation overnight! We will be back.
Loved the people that run this hotel, Dorothy was the receptionist when we got there and was wonderful. Didn't get the Gal in the morning name when we checked out, but she was wonderful also. The view is amazing. Bed was so comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Very good use of the space. Loved watching the fishing boats coming and goings.
The switch from just a Motel to a sustainable boutique Motel is a success. The rooms are very nice. The materials and ideas they have used are remarkable. For instance, day light in the bathroom. The outside with the flowers was very nice, as well.
Closed by is a Japanese Hotel which was a highlight as well.
This property is beautifully situated on a bluff above the ocean. It is conveniently located close to a few restaurants and a rocky beach. The hostess was lovely and friendly. Our room was large and very comfortable with an amazing view.
The room was nice and cozy hotel was off of highway 1 staff was super friendly restaurants around were good hiking and sight seeing were beautiful. Was a relaxing vacation for me and my wife.
Beautifully remodeled rooms! I felt like I was staying in a spa hotel. We chose this location because of the value and location while driving up the coast and were very pleasantly surprised.
Beautiful large well stock kitchen, The bathrooms and bedrooms were well appointed and stocked. The views were gorgeous. It was fun to the lighthouse in the DVDs left for us.
We could see the lighthouse from the window of the Bookkeeper's Room. The radiant heat from the floor kept us warm, and there was plenty of premium ground coffee.
