We liked that it had a large pool for adults and older children, as well as a fun smaller pool that wasnt deep for children and infants. Wish they would have been warmer, they were pretty chilly. Thankful for the jacuzzi.

If you need any kind of handicap accessible room and you need more the 1 bed, I'd go somewhere else. They don't have but 1 handicap accessible shower and only 1 bed, in the room. They lied to me about it then wouldn't do anything to remedy the circumstances or even help. But they sure took the money and told me to bad.

The beaches were nice.
The beaches were nice. They need to be more careful of how they word their signs and their tourist books. You think that you are going to a beach or the dunes and they just marked a town on signs as though it is a point of interest. It was very confusing.

Everything was clean & nicely taken care of...people were friendly. They seemed pleased this event was happening in their town. We were only there for 15 hours so we only saw the hotel, the dock & a Subway shop while there. The police & dock police were organized & tried very hard to keep 10000 cars flowing & parking was plentiful. Thank you for letting the Navy use your port to commission the USS Indianapolis.

Although the front desk person was very thoughtful, the hotel was very dirty. Shower was too nasty to use. Pool was dirty and falling apart. AC was deafening. The only saving grace was clean bedding. Go somewhere else. I thought I could trust Days Inn for cleanliness, but I will not use Days Inn, again.
Low rates for the area, which is close to Indiana Dunes and Gary. There are some places to eat and drink very nearby. The hotel gives a nice first impression despite being very run-down: beds and furniture look great and the staff is very assuring that problems and shortcomings are being addressed.
Newer hotel. Plenty of parking. The room was very nice. We just stayed for one night and didn't have a chance to use much of the facitilities. The bed was comfortable and we were well rested. Will stay here again next time we're in the area to visit family.
Poor and basically non existence breakfast offered. I would not even consider it a continental breakfast! Considering it was a last minute booking, the employees were not subpar, just not well informed of the area relatively close to the hotel!
Loved having a full kitchen to use while travelling. The room also had an extra seating area in the kitchen area. A full size coffee pot was provided. Bedding was clean. Things were in working order.
Nice hotel located not too far from the beach! Comfy & everything worked just fine. Second time staying with family to visit the dunes. Overall great trip! Lake Michigan is beautiful!
Clean, access to interstate, close proximity to the ship yard & shopping area.
The breakfast selection was good.
The hot tube & pool area was very nice, clean & warm.
Friendly staff
This was a standard hotel to stop at on a longer journey. It met our expectations - the fitness room was a bonus! Staff at reception were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
Sheets were clean. Breakfast was included, but minimal. The first floor of the hotel is pet-friendly for a $15/night upcharge. The staff were very friendly.
