Simple breakfast offerings but something for everyone: eggs, sausage, waffles, bread and bagels, fresh fruit, cereal. My room was comfortable and clean, everything in working order. Maid service was unexpected as I was only staying two nights and they were nice enough to come back later as I was still in the room at 10am. They swapped out used towels and offered to change the linens, which I declined. Good location near Old Poway Park and many restaurants.

Was told all rooms down stairs were double queen beds, even though I was handicapped, told I would have to have a room on upper level that had king bed. Not what I expected. More along the lines of a motel not an inn.

What we liked most was the location as to what we wanted to do on our trip.
The room amenities were disappointing, the lack of dressers to but things away, uncomfortable bed, the smell in the room.
We will not stay there again.

This is the town I grew up in.
This is the town I grew up in. I am always amazed at the greenery and beauty. They have done such a nice job of adding walking trails around the area. We spent some time at Poway Lake and enjoyed being outdoors.

Room was adequate.
Room was adequate. Busy weekend so lots of noise and crowded pool, breakfast, hallways.
Our room had short toilet, we prefer taller toilets. I would prefer queen beds to double. If a room “sleeps” six, the beds should be queen.
We were very happy with the location. It felt safe even when we got back to the room late.
I was pleasantly surprised at the selection for breakfast. I worked at a hotel back home for a little bit and the most we served was cereal and some bread. The sausage patties were fantastic and the eggs were quite filling, and I was more than satisfied throughout the day after. The bed was comfortable yet firm, and the room looked spotless. There were some scratches alongside the door in the bathroom, but that can easily be forgiven for how everything else was. Definitely going to come back!

The location was remote.. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing. The hotel's website advertises a breakfast that is far from what it offers, which is a brown bag with a muffin, a small apple and a napkin. There are small cups with apple, cranberry or orange juice. Coffee is available too. This breakfast was the same during the four days we stayed at the hotel. Probably the unused Brown bags are put out the following day.
Breakfast was excellent, much better than what other hotels are currently providing during covid. Location worked well for us as we were visiting someone who lives nearby, plus it turned out that you were right by Yanni's and we loved eating there.
