We were on a site seeing adventure up the Mississippi river and it was a nice place to call it a night. Close to River Road and a short distance to Pikes Peak, spook cave and Breitbachs famous restaurant. (the most delicious homemade buffet ever) and the pies are out of this world! Huckleberry is right across the street and easy to grab a to go and take back to room. Good food. Our next visit we will head into WI to House on the Rock and Big Cat Rescue.

Prairie du Chien has really changed since we were there, many years ago. The elimination of the stop lights and putting in round abouts at some of the streets was a big change. Would like to visit there again, when we would have more time to explore more.

I’ve been coming to the area since I was a child so I just like to revisit. There are plenty of nice shops in the area, and many have been here for years. There are also plenty of decent restaurants. Lots to do outdoors. When you hit a fall weekend with perfect weather, it’s spectacular!

Nice hotel in a good location right off the main drag. Stayed in a suite and the room was huge with a whirlpool tub and shower combo in the main room. The breakfast area was clean and had a nice variety of items. The staff was friendly and hard working. Loved that we could walk to the Black Angus Supper Club. There was a path between the hotel and the restaurant which made it very convenient.
The hotel was very clean and the facilities in general were neat. Breakfast was okay. No tags on anything so those with food allergies or dietary restrictions would not know what contains what. Fresh fruits for breakfast. Clean, spacious rooms and bathroom. Within walkable distance to the city center and a nearby park, Villa Louis, and the Doussman House. Staff was great!
Overall this hotel is good value for the price. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Well done to the staff. It is not a luxury hotel but definitely very suitable if you are just looking for a place to sleep.
the staff were very friendly and helpful on check in and check out. the location of the hotel was good and had a variety of restaurants nearby. the beds were very comfy and the shower is warm and powerful
Great value. Room was clean. Very nice staff. Breakfast was an average hotel breakfast with additional scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast sandwiches. Would stay here again.
Beautiful hotel and location on the River, comfy bed. Hot breakfast each day. Very clean and staff was great. Will stay again. Good bar and food on site. Close to all the sights.
Aleisha and Ramon are the best ever. They are very kind and considerate and very warm and welcoming to customers. Plus a great place for dogs. They even have dog treats!
The property was very clean and the staff very personable and attentive! there was a comfortable atmosphere and would stay again the next time we visit the area!
The young lady at the desk was wonderful and helpful as the booking system failed. Due to some activity in area all hotels were booked and we arrived at 8 pm.
