I don’t like nothing about the property. I think it is definitely not a full star in my view and the reception and staff were no help.

Location excellent. Staff didn’t seem to make me and my family feel their warmth and friendliness

Reception areas is light and bright and well kept.
We didn't like it. It wasn't clean (rooms elevators) the pool advertised wasn't available, they didn't care. The issues reported were not addressed and they didn't apologize but rather blamed us and denied acceptance- ie we can't control the pool isn't in use. You run a business, fix it, clean it, resolve it or stop advertising it and have cleaning checks. Not worth the overpriced cost and lack of CR.
We only spent probably less than an hour in the room, so there was not opportunity to see what we liked, or did not like about the hotel really. I completed the "what did you like" section of this because my initial response was not accepted for not being complete.
The location and USP of this hotel lies in the name, "Riverview" and this is brilliant! The hotel location is nice and quiet which suited us just fine.
The room size and facilities, and the bathroom too were just about average for the price paid.
The hotel was in a great location, there are many restaurants within walking distance. Train stop is across the street, they have a restaurant & bar and on-site parking ( daily rate parking ) the room is spacious, the bed is comfortable
Food and everything was okay. Very friendly staff. Extremely helpful lady at the breakfast. Very professional and kind. The hotel is old, but the people definitely make up for that. Lovely bath and soap. Breakfast until 11 is very nice.
Except fancy entrance i haven’t liked anything.shower not working, paid parking , no complementary breakfast at all. No in room service. Customer service at its worst level. Hotel should change from 4 star to MINUS 4 star.
Good location, somewhat close to everything but you stoll will require a reliable means of transportation as there is no bus stops near by. The NJ transit Rahway stop is a 5 min drive away.
There was NO breakfast! One of the reasons I booked this hotel was to have breakfast. If I knew that there was not going to be any breakfast, I would have booked elsewhere.
There is a pretty nice Salvadoran Caffe Antojitos not far from this piece of hell instead of the hotel. That was the only positive impression of a whole stay at Rahway city.
