The room was well-equipped, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was adequate generally - rather limited hot choice but understandable.

Renton seemed like a nice place to stay, I would stay there another time. The shopping complex we went to was about 11minutes by car. Lots of eateries there and Walmart where we shopped. We made use of the home and cooked our own meals.
I am not sure about getting around by bus, but I saw some buses in the area. We moved around by our car. It is easier and more accessible if you have your own car. We only stayed 3 nights, meeting up with friends so I would say Renton is a nice place for families and friends away from the hectic nature of the city.
Renton is centrally located, easy to get to airport and to downtown Seattle.

It was a quiet great space.
It was a quiet great space. However it wasnt cleaned properly before we arrived. There was hair in 3 of the 4 beds when we arrived. There was urine and pubic hair on wall in downstairs bathroom. Once those 2 items were remedied the place was just what we needed. We did pay over 300 dollars in cleaning fee, which due to state of property was exorbitant.

2 family members lived there, so I had a chance to visit with them. Everything close to downtown Seattle, Mercer Island, The Falls. Easy to navigate, except the streets not always marked sufficiently for making turns at intersections. Didn't know if I were to keep straight or turn. No stop signs at some of the intersections on hills in Renton/Seattle Beacon Ave area, so a little scary. Routed us through Fred Meyers grocery to get to our destination of 17804 109th AVE Southeast, Renton from the 10000 Beacon Ave South instead of keeping us on Ranier.
The view of Lake Washington was beautiful form Renton. Pulcinella Pizzeria fabulous.

Location had options of shopping and close by restaurants.
Location had options of shopping and close by restaurants. This was important as they DID NOT offer continental breakfast as advertised..My room was not cleaned when I asked. Parking was an additional charge which I'd NEVER heard of or was informed of before booking!!

Renton is not some place I would ever recommend as a vacation destination. Maybe stay in Renton if you're here to see Seattle to keep the cost down, but even then, I don't know. You definitely need a vehicle to get around anywhere efficiently, and gas in King County is up to $5 per gallon (?!?!?!?!) (insanity). I don't really feel safe here walking my dogs at night. And I am from Tacoma, born and raised, and I never feel unsafe there. The homeless presence in Renton is more noticeable than other places. Not that I have a problem with that, they have to be somewhere, but it's worth a mention, as it may affect others' feelings of safety. There also just seemed to be large gatherings of people at night at bus stops and such, after busses had quit running. They didn't appear to be homeless people in those situations, which decreases my sense of safety even more. The police presence is heavy. That doesn't do much to increase the feeling of personal safety, just one more thing to watch out for.
I stayed here while I was having work done at my home and the best prices in the area were here. The hotel itself was great. I cannot really recommend for anyone to come to Renton for any reason other than convenience and cost savings.

Very clean, appealing location in South West Seattle.
Very clean, appealing location in South West Seattle. Issaquah is nearby and also recommended for exploring, shopping and dining. Very quaint little "towns" I guess...or suburban enclaves. Beautiful parks and lots of lush landscaping. Very pretty.
My wife and I booked this hotel unexpectedly, as we were stranded in Seattle for a night, thanks to Delta's incompetence. Despite the circumstances, we had a great stay at the Sonesta. The woman who checked us in, Sassy, was extremely friendly and helpful. She got us into a room earlier than I suspect was the normal check-in time, and she even gave us a recommendation for a delivery restaurant.
The staff were friendly and what we paid was pretty worth it for a hotel. The biggest thing that exceeded our expectations was that parking was free, they allowed it overnight, and not only that but they also allowed me a pass for another car. I was grateful to not have to pay parking for the duration of my stay.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic, with a wonderfully peaceful area, breathtaking views, exceptional service from the front desk staff, great location, competitive pricing, and an overall memorable and enjoyable experience.
All the staff that I had the pleasure to encounter were wonderful! The hotel was nice and clean and the bed was incredibly soft. If I ever come back to Renton, this is definitely the place I will stay.
The room was spacious and very nice. The Bed was comfortable, the lobby area clean and modern/sleek, and the front desk staff was great. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Parking was easy also.
Check-in was very friendly and went smoothly, though there had been an "incident" in the hotel and the police arrived. Though we didn't need to use it, having a full kitchen was a plus.
Daniel at reception greeted us and got us a quiet room before checkin time. Wifi and free coffee in lobby. Eggs and sausages at breakfast. Downton Renton 15min.walk.
State of the art hotel, big and comfortable room with excellent bed and bathroom. Very large TV. The indoor pool is clean and invites you to relax. Great Lake views.
