The staff are rude specifically the people serving breakfast and bar have poor customer handling.
They refused my children to have breakfast
Refused to give children age 6 and 10 to have juice and they said only coffee/tea is with breakfast and I have to pay for orange juice.
Poor communication between the manager and the restaurant.
We were advised breakfast is until 11 but the restaurant refuse to serving etc

Room was way bigger and accommodation than I had expected and so I was quite impressed with the size and amenities. Breakfast was quite simply but adequate. Shuttle to airport was a major plus and ran on time

It's easy to take a train or bus and visit historical...
It's easy to take a train or bus and visit historical centers or DC. The area itself is quiet with enough to do to keep you entertained. I like to plan for day trips to areas that may be 45 mins away and then come back and enjoy the evening in Reston since it's more affordable, accessible, and quiet. The Reston Town Center is great for food, nightlife, drinks, and necessities. I'd avoid staying too far from public transportation here.

The whole experience was dissatisfied ,the concierge were very unfriendly and not willing to help ,I missed my flight from back home and had to reschedule I told the billing department what happened and requested them to reschedule my booking but they refused and charged me the whole stay except one night ,they send at least 20 emails and I stopped answering ,they had two credit cards for payment but wanted a third one to secure the payment .I had to remove my garbage and clean the unit before leaving but this was not clear in their policy and I had no cleaning services on daily basis . There was no help with the luggage at all and no body to talk to ,I had to push the luggage car which had bad wheels .the whole experience was bad they have to get more helpful staff at the front disk they were terrible

Reston is a wonderful place to visit, work, or live in.
Reston is a wonderful place to visit, work, or live in. The lakes and woods are very pretty. The Town Center at Lake Anne, and the Reston Town Center both have very nice restaurants and amenities. It's a beautiful setting, with lots of paths and lakes and has been our home for 18 years. We are sad to leave Reston, and hope we will find a community this nice for our next home!AAnonymous - 4.0Scored 4.0

Location was good. Staff at reception nice. It was unclear this was not a hotel so the booking website could put more effort in making that distinction clear. The bathroom smelled bad. The bed was awful (so hard I might as well could have slept on the floor) and so were the pillows. The luxaflex in front of the bedroom window was so badly damaged there was loads of light in the room which hampered any solid sleep. I asked for help and my email got answered promptly promising someone would fix things. This never happened despite sending them numerous daily reminders. So on the face of it ok but when push comes to shuffle I would not recommend this organisation and would deem the to be unreliable. Especially on following up on issues.PimNetherlands

Unlike so many other hotels in the US Westin Reston Heights is actually well built and properly sound insulated so you are not bothered by noise from outside despite being in rather busy area. Check-in was effortless, no waiting and the staff was helpful. Generally the hotel looks new and well maintained. Very recommended if you need a comfortable place to stay in the area.
