Very friendly man at the reception. Many points suggested to us about the future trip to the valley of Death. They also improved our room, although we didn't even ask for it. Many thanks for that. The motel itself is nice, the rooms are clean, there is a refrigerator and a microwave. There are many shops nearby, very convenient.

I visit my daughter ever so often and I’m always looking for a great place to stay and I think I found it now I loved that the people that managed the place were down to earth and accommodating very friendly and you don’t find that everywhere. I will definitely be back to stay at the super eight in Ridgecrest.

Ridgecrest, for a small desert town offers more than expected in dining, coffee options, and a TON of work-out clubs, which is a nice option for me when traveling. I do field work in the nearby desert, occasionally camping, so Ridgecrest is well-situated when the need (for example, of a shower) arises.

Ridgecrest is a hidden gem along the Owens Valley 395 with plenty of eateries and accommodations. Its about a nine hour drive for us from Tucson, AZ which is just about as far as we like to go in one day. The next day is another 5-6 to our family cabin at Lake Tahoe, Ca.
Just a couple miles off the main Highway, Ridgecrest is easily accessible. One of our favorite places for a bite to eat and an ice cold beer is at Schooners, a fun lively sports grill with good food and great service! Located on Norma Street.
Ridgecrest will never disappoint!!

Really nothing much to like about the town, it's on the way to lone pine and bishop, the sierras are accessible from the turn off to chimney peak/kennedy meadows which is nice if you don't mind a 50 mile drive up on some very narrow and curved roads but it's very scenic if you like
that sort of thing.

Most restaurants were open with Covid19 restrictions.
Most restaurants were open with Covid19 restrictions. There's a Super Wal-Mart on the south side of town for your shopping needs. All hotel facilities in Ridgecest are occupied by a large number of contract workers repairing earthquake damage at the Naval Weapons Center. Be prepared for extra noise at your hotel.
The hotel was easy to find and we had no problem parking in their ample carpark. Staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was clean, warm and very comfortable. Facilities were easy to use and once we logged into the entertainment system we were spoiled for choice with TV, movies, etc....
Having just driving 4+ hours through the wilderness it was great to stop somewhere so civilised.
Breakfast was nice, and a bonus to have it included in the overall price.
I followed advice of other guests and booked because the rooms seemed clean: indeed it is surprisingly clean compared to what expected or other motels! I think that was the biggest pro of the place. I also very appreciated the kindness of the person at the reception when we checked in and the cheap price
The staff was excellent. The hotel clerk and housekeeper were so kind and friendly, and happy to meet our dog. There were some old stains on the carpet in the room, not fresh, no odor, just signs of wear and tear. We WOULD stay here again. I felt everyone was doing their best to serve us!
We had a great stay! The rooms are tidy, clean and comfortable with eveything you need inside. In particular, we would like to mention the kindness of our host that solved a serious problem we had with the reservation platform, allowing us to have the best experience anyway
The breakfast system is the best. They give Denny's coupons, which is 5mins walk from the lodge. We can also take it as to go at any time. Location is good if you are planning to go to Death Valley (2hrs) the next day.
Impressive modern looking hotel with large lounge lobby but nothing works in the room. Noisy bathroom fan that goes on every time you turn on the lights. 2 thermostats that heat the room even when they’re off
the pool was being demolished/constructed but we didn't care anyway. The staff were very friendly and in the evenings they make delicious lemon juice. Excellent breakfast buffet and relatively quiet hotel
The room was excellent with all of the amenities we could need. The staff members were all very nice. The breakfast was more than we expected. This was the nicest Best Western we have stayed in!
