This hotel is great. The staff and the owner were so accommodating. The gentlemen who run the valet parking were great and fast. The location of the hotel is great too; it's on the same side of the street and a block down from the Food Lab (an awesome food court) and the Game Lab (a giant arcade). I recommend use Lyft to get around the city but most places are in walking distance from the hotel. Downtown Riverside has a college town feel to it but it's still an urban city that you need to be cautious in. Overall, Downtown Riverside is a good time every time.

Though the hotel provided a bed to sleep on, there amenities were less than adequate. We discovered during our stay that the room had cockroaches on top being given a blow dryer that didn’t work. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay considering we paid nearly 200 dollars to sleep for 5 hours and wish to gain compensation.

Although the building and property is beautiful, the quality of the whole experience is mediocre at best. Restaurants are bland and very mediocre(ate at Mexican restaurant BLAND!!) and had breakfast and room service - also extremely bland food) zStaff lacked poise and professionalism. All the staff were very young and seemed uninterested and undertrained. Heard housekeeping cursing and complaining. Front desk did not explain Wi-Fi, they did not point out or explain layout of where things were located in the hotel, they did not take luggage to the room. Housekeeping did not clean our room one of the 3 days, despite being gone from 9:30am-9:30pm. No water given in the room. Overall it was an extremely underwhelming experience. If you are used to quality when traveling, this is not the place for you. I would say a 2 out off 5.

This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in.
This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in.
Upon arrival the little lobby smelled liked an old, filthy disgusting taco stand with Indian or Pakistan smell of curry.
The person behind the window had his ear pods in his ear and listening to music and did not even acknowledge me standing there for 30 seconds.
The room was so very filthy, torn sheets, filthy shower, toilet, old table and very filthy chair with urine spots on it, the metallic Kleenex box was rusty, dirty and no tissue in it, the bathroom door would close and would not open again and it had to be forced open by body slam,
the entrance door to the room had graffities on it, at night I heard next door neighbor's door being banged on and there was drug dealing between the neighbor and some stranger.
This place is HELL, and I was told the attendant behind register is the manager, when I asked him again are you sure you are the manger since I felt he was lying to me, then he said, okay, the manager is Victor and upon my request he provided me a business card with no names on it except the hotel's name and phone number.
They are lairs, filthy people and they will charge you $110.00 and give you a rat hole to sleep in. I need the entire amount of fees and taxes that you charged refunded with a letter of apology and a promise for you to upgrade this "SLUM HOTEL" to American Standard. I took 25 photos of the room #211 and will be happy to send them to you along with 1 video of the bathroom door.

I've only been to Riverside in late Spring and early Fall before when it is way too hot and miserable. This trip was in the cool early spring and the town is gorgeous! How did I not notice before? People are super friendly.
The hotel is affordable and a great value. Don't expect luxury, but since I only stayed one night, I feel extremely satisfied with my stay. The room was very clean and simple. The beds were very comfy as well. What I really liked the most was that the location itself was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was also very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location itself is very close, i.e. walking distance, to all the museums and many great restaurants and shops.
The room was disgusting. It’s not even clean. It has bugs gum on the floor. The bathroom has mold and dirt dust all over the place and smells cigarettes and weed and another weird smell, and I’m still waiting for my return money because I can’t stay there 30 min and I booked another hotel , stay away from this place they got ppl selling drugs pills, and weed in the parking lot I don’t know where are the police from them?
What they don't tell you is that on the weekend
They rent parking space for the people around that go to the clubs near by 😠 we had our baby sleeping and when we arrived at hotel the parking lot was extremely
Full even in between the parking lanes . We had to park 2 blocks from the location and walk In the middle of the night. And they still charge a $30 dollar fee per packing.
Beautiful architecture and setting that you can spends hours wandering through exploring. Gorgeous hotel that I have visited multiple times. The rooms aren’t really all that special, but still offer comfortable accommodation with a connection to times past… If you’ve never been I highly recommend staying here.
The hotel is always at it's cleanliness and it's definitely a conferable place too stay ....and it's rather nice in all the rooms visited ....and parkings not to bad most nights and there is a 24 hr security guard who maintains the whole hotel and. That's always nice to see .
Upon arrival, we found the SB drink left on the floor in the room, so maybe the maid forgot to discard it after cleaning the room.
We have enjoyed their great hot breakfast buffet!
Only we disliked their hotel coffee brand but we love their tea brand!
The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and informative. The hotel room was clean and organized very well. I love the fact that it is right in the middle of downtown Riverside because everything is a few minutes away.
The location is great. The breakfast was good minus the scramble eggs and potatoes. The rate for 2 night is over priced for Riverside California. To park your vehicle has a good secure but the price to park your vehicle is high
I liked that the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel did not serve breakfast, and the staff said coffee was provided in the lobby. The bed was very comfortable and clean and made it easy for a good night's sleep.
Location near bars and places to eat. Had never ventured in downtown Riverside, good location for that. Pool available at an early time, 6am, that was really combina y for those who like to avoid a crowded pool, I do.
The hotel has good security, a delicious buffet breakfast until 10am everyday, my room was fantastic - very modern and spotlessly clean with the convenience of a mini fridge and microwave. Quiet location.
I did not like this hotel - the online reviews are overrated!!! the hotel staff was mediocre at best. the hotel is not in a good area and there were homeless people sleeping on the property.
