The check in was at 3, we waited around for hours before...
The check in was at 3, we waited around for hours before getting into the room, even though they knew we needed the room earlier. Town very small and funky. We ate at Subway once, ate all breakfasts at Patio Burgers -- pricey, but bountiful amounts of food. Go early, many retirees are there every day mid-morning. The place serves breakfast all day, super experience. Gateway area to Angels Camp (think Jumping Frogs), Murphys, Calaveras Big Trees.

The rooms were beautiful and accommodating. The grounds were more than accommodating ! The owners were sweet and their hospitality was beyond anything and anyone and anywhere was off the charts! Thank you😁

He upgraded me to a newly renovated room on the second floor which was very cute, clean, and spacious. He even gave me a few snacks which was so sweet. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and was very happy with my stay!
