Was cool and the window in my room was broken, we could not sleep with noise. Otherwise the bad smells is terrible. The hotel needs to take care the carpet is extremely dirty. We hope they took care about those things.

The staff was polite and helpful.
The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel was shabby, rundown, and dated- not at all like it was presented online. The carpets were dirty and the paint on the stairwell was chipped. I would give this hotel 2 stars and that is being generous/

Went to RI comic con. The hotel was in a good location.
Went to RI comic con. The hotel was in a good location. Easy on/off the highway. Not a fan of late check in 3pm. Room was comfortable clean. Plenty of towels and good water pressure. Lots of places to eat/ drink within walking distance. Good value for the money. I have stayed at several Quality Inns. Never had a bad experience.

I have no issues with the city, but the hotel that we stayed at was a zero. The elder front desk person, was very nasty and rude. She acted like she didn't want to help or be there, and that guests were an inconvenience to her. The coffee area was dirty and not cleaned up. I have never, ever stayed at a hotel where the owner allows the employees use of the pool during guest hours. Employees children (teens) using the pool, laying on floaties, taking up the entire deep end. The next day an employee and her two burly friends sitting and eating in front of the pool, staring. Was creepy. They don't have lifeguards, swim at your own risk and no food, the sign says. So there was no reason for the employees to be down there. Our dance team girls could not use the pool, nothing like our preteens being stared at by two huge males, who weren't even guests. To top it all off, got really uncomfortable when the employee and a guest started yelling at each other at the pool. As she had a "right to be there" because she was the "Owner's step-daughter"...... again, very weird and awkward. It made me feel as we couldn't use the pool as guests--and the guests are the ones paying for it.... especially with the wrist bands. I assume that the employees don't have to pay for their wristbands. Just weird and awkward and hated the experience.

The best place to eat breakfast was a diner called Eat's and a good seafood place was called Dickey's. There are a lot of places to go shopping and to stock up for family supplies if traveling with a group.😆
We liked that the hotel was very close to local stores and restaurants. It was very convenient. The hotel staff was nice. The breakfast was more than what we were expecting. They had a variety of different foods to eat than what you would get with a continental breakfast. The pool was the highlight of our visit. Although it's small the water was refreshing and the kids really enjoyed it.
Sadly nothing. We chose it because we were visiting the Providence area. We thought, being a Ramada Wyndham hotel, that it would be of a good standard - not excellent but at least good compared to a lot of other chains. What we did not know was it appears to be a franchise. The Maintenance chap did a good job fixing 3 things - so he was the only thing we liked!
We like Mom and Pop hotels. The Colonial looks to have been renovated. The room was clean, and for what we needed, it was fine. The gentleman when we checked out was accommodating. There is a decent bunch of books in the lobby! Also, they had coffee in the lobby in the morning, so I didn't have to go looking for a coffee place!
Very nice hotel at a decent rate clean and comfortable staff very nice and helpful was able to take deposit for room in cash for me cuz I didn't my card and was using my son's to make reservation thought that was nice of the front desk employee to let me check in
First, the breakfast was the best I’ve had in years. The whole area set up was clean, well lit and the choices were fabulous. The Staff were excellent. The room was clean, plenty of clean towels. Close to several restaurants.
Pool was warm and clean, even if a bit dated. Staff was friendly and on top of things. Free breakfast was great, and in the workout room the equipment was functional and clean. For a mid-range hotel we got our money’s worth.
Everything was perfect here. Best hotel we stayed in during our road trip across the USA. Many thanks to all the staff and management for a great stay. We experienced many horrors in other hotels across the country.
surprisingly clean hotel. not just the room, but everything around. I was so afraid of littering or getting something dirty, because everything sparkled and I wanted to keep the beauty.
