We had driven 12 hours and needed to stop to sleep. The room was great, because the couch came out onto a bed and that made it so me, and both my daughters, all had our own bed. The staff was very kind. Breakfast was included which made it even better! Highly recommend this hotel!

There are lots of great food options close by.

There are lots of great food options close by. We stayed here because we needed to commute to the Roslyn Retreat Center for a conference -- normally we stay in Richmond in the City. It's a little ways out but not too far, 15-20min to Carytown & Downtown.

Hotel stay was ok. Restaurant was not good.

Hotel stay was ok. Restaurant was not good. Food was old, not cooked like we wanted, the bartender was too busy to help us / wait tables, how about a mushy pickle ? Month old yogurt for breakfast? Just too many things added up. I was 4 hours from home and tired and just wanted some good dinner. No luck. Then breakfast. No luck.

Stay away on Holidays, but otherwise a fun place to visit.

Stay away on Holidays, but otherwise a fun place to visit. Shopping and restaurants galore! Short Pump is a beautiful town and easy to traverse when the traffic is normal. Holiday's make travel and parking difficult.

    It was perfect for us.

It was perfect for us. The room was spacious, well-appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. One friend traveled with us and she has back problems but slept so well on the extra long sofa, without pulling it out. The partial divider between the bedroom area and the living area is good enough to sleep without problems. The room has a separate area with a small refrigerator, one cup coffee maker and even its own little sink. The staff is wonderful, everything is very clean and it is a safe area. Breakfast is delicious and has enough variety for anyone. There is 24/7 availability of juices, salads and snacks for purchase. So no need to venture out, especially when you've had a busy day or are tired although there are plenty of places to dine nearby. We were on business so we did not take advantage of shopping or cultural events. We did see people jogging, but might be better at a park rather than the busy roads nearby.
